Litwor, Zakopane, excellent hotel
Just returned from the Litwor on a family ski holiday. Excellent accommodation. Spotlessly clean. Friendly helpful staff. Restaurant meals excellent and also service and staff. Very highly recommended. First time in Zakopane for over 20 years and can't wait to return. Ski-ing was best. Prices incredibly low for ski hire, tows, etc. An excellent holiday all round.

Excellent In Every Way
We stayed at the Litwor for a week as part of a Poland tour with Cosmos motor coach tours. The hotel is mostly European, we were the only Americans there at the time. But that added to the enjoyment.
We had a buffet breakfast and a set dinner menu as part of our package, so don't know how the meals would be when ordered from the menu, but for us, the meals were 5 star all the way. The breakfast was a huge buffet of breads, fruits, cheeses, salads, tomatoes, and various cold meats and hot meats. They also asked each morning if we would like scrambled eggs. I thought that was very nice, as that is mostly an American thing at breakfast, so they tried to accomodate us.
Dinner was always four courses - fantastic soups, an appetizer, main course, and dessert, plus breads and butter. Never had a bad meal, and I highly recommend the Cream of Horseradish soup. Yes, sounds weird, but delicous. Dinner waiter Jacek was always so professional and efficient.
Our room was perfect. We had a small balcony facing the mountains. What a view! It was also maintained very well each day by housekeeping.
The staff at reception was very pleasant and helpful. Lucky for us they spoke some English. We used the swimming pool and that area was also perfectly maintained. My husband had a massage and he said it was good and would recommend it.
I doubt we would be back to Zakopane after spending an entire week there, but if we did, the Hotel Litwor would be our first choice of hotels.
