The welcoming Ljubljana Resort spreads over seven hectares of green oasis in the northern outskirts of Ljubljana (Dunajska 270, Ježica), just next to the Sava river. As the only tourist resort in central Slovenia it offers a wide range of services: hotel***, camping ****, Štern Inn and other food & drinks offer during the season, multipurpose halls, Laguna Spa & Fun, an indoor sports centre and a variety of outdoor sport and leisure activities.
Ljubljana Resort is one of the largest park areas in Ljubljana, thus the staff pays great attention to the environment. During the renovation we iinvested over a million Euros into environment friendly infrastructure, especially the co-production of heat and electricity as well as a photocell power station. |

LOCATION
Ljubljana Resort enjoys an excellent location in a 7-hectare park on the northern outskirts of Ljubljana, featuring the largest green area in the city.

* In 62 rooms there are 149 beds available. Rooms are singles, doubles and triples, some double rooms have extra cabinet with a bunk bed and can accommodate families up to 4 persons. One triple room is specially equipped for disabled persons.
* All rooms have bathroom (SWC, hair drier), cable TV, radio, telephone and mini-bar, some have a balcony. All Ljubljana Resort area has a wireless internet access. For more demanding clients we offer two double rooms with a massage bath in the room. |

"Pleasant accommodation for families"
Stayed for one night only, as the resort could accommodate a family of four more easily than the city centre hotels. The resort is several kilometres out of the city centre so is not ideal for those arriving by train / bus although there is a bus stop right outside the entrance to the site which would be convenient.
The resort itself is a large camping / caravan site with apartment style room accommodation, for family accommodation this was two bedrooms and a bathroom, and was very good. The site includes a large restaurant / tavern selling a range of dishes and drinking / eating was not particularly expensive.
The only disappointment was that due to the rainy weather the outdoor swimming facility was closed when we arrived.
Recommended for families / campers.
