"Fab Hotel, for the 2nd year!" This was our 2nd vist to this fab hotel, Just a 20 min bus ride on the Airport bus cost 3.90 Euro's each can be found out the terminal exit to your right. It terminates at Plaza Catalunya Taxi is 30 Euro's! When you get off the bus hotel can be found straight accross the middle square, accross the crossing you will see the hotel at the top of the street if you keep going. We had a twin room at the front of the hotel which we asked for and the hotel kindly obliged. Our friends each had a double with a spa bath at the back of the hotel, they were more than pleased too. The hotel is spotless, friendly and has a good choice at breakfast, if you want a change you can try the many restaurants in the city, too many to mention really except, we had a great meal at QU restaurant off the square and there is a great tapas bar out the hotel turn left on the corner of the second steet on the right. Very cheap too. Please buy a 2 day ticket on the tourist bus, you can use it as a taxi hop on and off when you want. it is about £18 each but it's worth it and you get discounts off entrance fees to most attractions. Or use the metro, it's so easy to use and very clean. Don't leave your shopping until the Sunday as 95% of shops are shut except the ones in the Mall at the Harbour. Visit the park Guell, La Paredara, Segrada la Familia, food market off the Rambla and the port. Have a great trip, i've been to Barcelona 5 times now ,but I will be back!!!

"Great Location Very clean" I went for 4 days in Barcelona staying at the Hotel Lleo with my girlfriend. We’ve booked it from their web site as it had the same or cheapest rates from any other booking website. Was the best location for sightseeing, is located less than 200m away from Plaza Catalunya top of La Rambla. The room we had, was very clean and good size and the staff was very friendly. We didn’t have breakfast or any meals there as there are plenty of places around. We have a very pleasant stay. A definite value for money hotel

"Great Hotel" We stayed at Hotel Lleo for three nights. Having booked a single room for myself and a twin room for my son and his friend who were there for the football.,I got a double room with a small terrace and another surprise was that beds were adjustmatic which made comfort even better. Football match tickets were waiting at reception on our arrival.(They were booked on the net) Breakfast was not booked but I tried it anyway and was pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly and I would certainly go back.

"Fantastic!!!" Excellent value for money and the hotel is only 2 minutes away from Placa de Catalunya and the top of Las Ramblas. I stayed here for a long weekend at the beginning of August 2003. I was really impressed with the impeccable service and I really appreciated the free 'left-luggage' service on my final day. The breakfast included a vast selection and the whole place is air-conditioned. Next time I visit Barcelona I will definitely be staying here.......... a true fan!!!!

"great location" This was a brilliant hotel for a short city break - right in the heart of Barcelona, great for seeing the fantastic architecture and even more fantastic shops!!! The bus from the airport drops you in Placa Catalunya, just minutes walk from the hotel. There are loads of places to eat, but don't miss the produce market off la Rambla where you can eat amazing fish cooked in minutes in front of you. Use the Red and Blue tourist bus to get around - buy a day ticket. Don't queue in Pl. Catalunya; the bus stops before this near the hotel.

"fantastic" Stayed at the lleo hotel for 3 nights in april 04 fantastic location just off of La Rambla. Hotel kept to a high standard, rooms clean and tidy and had everything that you needed. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet offers a wide range of dishes to suit everyone. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be using it again upon my next visit.
