"My hotel in BA"
Location: some forums warned against the cold, impersonal microcenter, but this hotel was on a small, tree lined street steps away for a huge park. It 's central location was very convenient since BA is a sprawling city.
While BA is incredibly inexpensive for dollar holders, the hotel industry prices their rooms closer to an international tourist rate. Thus, this hotel was chosen because OneTravel had it at $50. US/night. We booked 2 nights and were put in a superior suite at $10 more because of our 4 year old (OT only books doubles). The room was fresh, bright, extremely tasteful in whites and beiges, had a dining area and kitchen, sofa, and ample stone and tile bathroom. Also, the mattress was new, a huge plus. The staff speaks perfect English. The breakfast was good - yogurts, fresh fruits, medialunas, etc,. We only had one decent cup of coffee the entire 10 day stay and that was in an Italian restaurant. (see my restaurant reviews on frommer's board).
After 2 side trips we stayed there again twice more. Rather than go thru One Travel, they gave us the same rate and let us take the standard room at $50. (same decor, bit smaller, king bed). Warning- if you are a light sleeper, you must get a room on the back or middle (these rooms are glum as they open to the air shaft). Other warning: do not let them arrange a car service for you. We had an early a.m. flight and rather than call a radio cab, they used a remise who really ripped us off. They arranged us a babysitter twice, whom we paid directly.
All in all, we knew we were in honest hands at a place where they valued us (unlike the stories I read about the prices being hiked). Next time in BA, we will definitely stay there.

"Excellent choice in great location"
There are 2 LoiSuites, we stayed in the Arenales one. Choice of studio& 1 bedroom appartments. We had the studio which according to our friend was a better choice than the 1 bedroom as felt more spacious. Spotlessly clean, decent small kitchen area sufficient for cooking a basic meal. Reception staff helpful and friendly. They provided free mobile phone rental with local calls at very reasonable rates - great idea and saved us a fortune vs using our UK mobiles! At US$85 for a double we found it exceptional value. Located a stone's thow from Plaza St Martin and in a nice neighbourhood. Supermarket opposite as well as a very cheap laundry shop (much cheaper than using the hotel service).

"Excellent"
I stayed here with my wife for a week in total (interspersed with other trips) in April 2006 and we could not recommend this hotel enough. The accomodation is fine; self-catering units that are clean, functional and decently sized. The neighbourhood is great and definitely quieter than the other Loisutes Hotels that we saw. Despite being quiet, it is only a short stroll to Plaza St Martin and nicely placed for rambling the city. Therei s no shortage of taxis outside the hotel for trips further afield. However, what really sold us on this hotel, was the staff. We stupidly stayed over Easter week and when it came to booking our trip to Mendoza on good friday ,a lot of places were closed. The staff could not have been helpful enough and really went out of their way to help us, offering to book flights and hotels. This attitude was the norm during our stay; polite, friendly and helpful. We also left our suitcases here when we went to Mendoza and Montevideo. Given the price, location and staff, I would have no hestiation in recommending this hotel to all vistors. Enjoy BA.
