"A good remain overnight hotel"
Overview: Located just off LAX . Your standard multi story airport hotel. Large property; about 1000 rooms. Starbucks in lobby. Pool, work out room, bar and two (?) restaurants .
The good: Arrived at 2:30 a.m. without reservation as hotel we reserved had multiple police cars outside as we arrived, so we departed for safer grounds. National Guard was staying in the hotel so rooms were tight but they located a king room for us. Standard Marriott room. Very clean. Nice view of pool and airport. Breakfast buffet is excellent, great service and priced right. Rooms in the hotel were $135 per night. About the norm for the area.
The Bad: At 2:30 am everthing in the hotel was closed. Recommended to go to the Hilton if we wanted food or a drink. There is a small fast food nearby....quite an unusual clientele.
The ugly: Paying an additional $15.00 for self parking. No idea how much valet parking costs.
Bottom line: They came through in a pinch for us. It's just an airport hotel. Do not expect too much more.

"Strongly recommend"
As Australians visiting the US for the first time for some years and needing to spend a night near LAX on both our outward and return journeys we spent a lot of time reading the reviews of various hotels located near the airport. This hotel had rated highly among other reviewers so we booked it. We were not disappointed in any aspect of our experience at this hotel. We were able to get very good but different internet prices for both nights spent in the hotel. It is very convenient to the airport with a regular shuttle bus and the service was top class. The room was comforable and clean with no noise. The bathroom was small but no smaller than others we have come to expect in US hotels. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. The restaurant downstairs was reasonably priced and the food good. I would strongly recommend this hotel.
