"Romantic hotel"
We staryed at Lucknam Park hotel for my birthday and had a fantastic time. You are greeted on arrival and shown around the hotel and then escored to your room, by this time our bags and coasts were already taken up. We were upgraded to the Tower room, which was big and beautiful, with stunning views over the countryside. The staff are extremely well trained and are genuinly interested in their guests - nothing was too much trouble and they all seemed to know our names. You can hire mountain bikes or use the pool and spa facilities as we did. Dinner was fantastic as was our full English breakfast. My only small improvement would be to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Celebrated my 40th at Lucknam after reading the reviews. Wanted luxury without stuffiness. The staff were excellent and the hotel superb.Quality of room very good and Spa facilities good. Food excellent. Quite pricey but found a good deal on laterooms.Definitely recommended for a romantic getaway.Very welcoming and magnificent mansion house decor-chandeliers open fireplaces,wood panelling and all looking very clean and pristine. Older clientelle and bar was in the library where you are served with drinks in armchairs in front of log fire. Highly recommended. Minor drawback on day 1 jacuzzi cool and day 2 steam room not working however did not detract from a great weekend.
