"Wow!!!"
Not once have i ever come across a hotel that is such a pleasure to stay in as the Craxton Wood. From the minute we arrived we were impressed. It was raining so we were greeted by the extremely friendly concierge - i think Frank was his name, he brough an umberella out to our car and helped us in with out luggage. We were then greeted at the reception desk by a young chap called James, think he is head receptionist. James went well out of his way to give us all the information we needed and he really made our stay in a 4* hotel feel like it was 5*. I have never seen customer service quite as good as this, even up to the point of remembering ourr names and greeting us each morning as we came down for breakfast. Well done. Top marks - get more James's in your hotels! Bedrooms were lovely, if you do stay, request a garden view, as the surrounding area is beautifull. Resteraunt a little slow, but the food was amazing.....just make sure you either come down early or very late for breakfast to avoid the queues. Once again, thankyou Macdonald Hotels. I'll be back!!!

"Excellent!"
I have recently stay at the Craxton Wood and I would have to say it is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. We too had an executive room and they now have a dvd library with suprisingly some up to date films!. The staff are all very helpful and courtious, couldn't fault them and the food was exceptional. I would fully receommend this hotel to anyone wishing to go and relax for a few days I have already booked to go again next month!.
