"Fabulous Easter break"
We booked a room in February, on a half board basis with Leisure Breaks(brochure found in most travel agents). We stayed for two nights(29th to 31st March) at a cost of £65 pppn. I requested a lake view, later through the hotel, at no extra charge and was not dissappointed. Everything about the hotel was fabulous from the accomodation, friendly staff to the delicious food. I am so glad that I chose to ignore some of the previous reviews. Goodness knows what standards they must apply to rate it 'terrible'. My husband and I will not hesitate to return after the multi million pound refurb but I bet we won't get it at this price again!

"Relaxing and welcoming"
Booked an overnight stay over the internet at the last minute, package included breakfast and evening meal. Arrived at 2 pm and allocated a garden view room which actually looked over the well kept garden and onto the lake, the room looked as if it had been recently refurbished. The view from the dining room was fantastic, we had a window table for both evening meal and breakfast, and the food could not be faulted. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, felt like 'home from home' comfort wise with comfy sofa's in the lounge area. Can't wait to pay a return visit!

"well worth a visit"
I must say that i did read some reviews that didnt really do this hotel justice! but when we arrived all those reviews went out the window. The staff were always there to help.. anything you wanted they would do their best to get it for you, if there was something wrong with your room they would be there straight away to sort it out. although we didnt have dinner in the hotel the variety @ breakfast was amazing you could have as much or as little as u liked, and it was all to a high standard. The rooms which me and my family had were also to a high standard. we were situated in the older part of the hotel, and the standard was high! rooms were perfect and were cleaned everyday with new bedding and everything u needed. My parents were in the newer part of the hotel and although i think there room wasnt as good as the rest of ours, there view was something else!! they were meters from the lake! What a view 2 wake up 2! If anyone is thinking about going 2 this hotel and spendin a few days there, i think u will love it coz we most certainly did! and hope to go again!
