The Macedonian Sun Hotel is situated just a kilometer away from the village of Kallithea, meaning "beautiful view". Here guests can browse through a variety of shops, stop at the cafes and ice-cream parlors lined along cobbled pedestrian streets.
The Macedonian Sun Hotel first began operation in 1988. Due to the excellent location of its buildings, it combines an ocean view amongst gardens blooming with rose bushes. Amongst the hotel's gardens is The Macedonian Sun Hotel swimming pool. A well designed swimming pool with fresh water and a special swimming area for children.
There are sun beds to be found around the pool area with its poolside bar serving cool, thirst quenching refreshments throughout the day and night. Palm trees and beautifully tended gardens offer exotic beauty to the surrounding atmosphere. There is also a children's playground for the little friends.

LOCATION
The Macedonian Sun Hotel is situated just a kilometer away from the village of Kallithea. Halkidiki is a peninsula, southeast of the city of Thessaloniki (Greece's second largest city). With its characteristic three peninsulas (Kassandra, Sithonia, Athos), it resembles a trident piercing the Aegean. Sunny, golden sandy beaches, deep and picturesque gulfs, traditional villages and modern tourist resorts, small islands and sheltered bays, pine-clad hills descending to the sea, Mediterranean climate and magnificent natural beauty compose the picture of today's Halkidiki.
The capital of Halkidiki is Poligiros, located in the center of Halkidiki (69 km from Thessaloniki). Transportation is made mainly by car or by bus and the closest airport is "Airport Macedonia", near the city of Thessaloniki.
