"Very nce stay" Arrived early and room was ready. A nice surprise. Staff pleasant but not the most helpful for recommendations about the city. We had a room facing inside the hotel and it was great because the city is quite busy even though the street the hotel is on is not too bad. Room was lovely, extremely quiet (at one stage we thought we were the only ones there!) and contemporary though quite dark. An excellent base for exploring Madrid and very central. Restaurant in hotel is quite expensive in comparison to the wide range outside of it though we did not actually try it.

"Unique hotel rooms" Stayed at the Vincci Soho for 2 nights to see a Real Madrid football match, and we enjoyed most of our stay. The room was very unusual & modern to a normal room, but very nice. Main problem was the noise from the street outside which went on for most of the next morning, but I think this is just the way Madrid is. Even the binmen make a lot of noise at about 3 a.m. Unless you're out all night with the locals or a very heavy sleeper, you're not going to get a good nights sleep. We still enjoyed the hotel, less than 5 mins walk to Prado Museum & a few more mins to the nearest metro station.

Great Location! stayed in this hotel november 22nd -24th. perfect location! i could see the arc de triomphe from my bedroom window. the staff was friendly, the rooms are quite small, but comfortable. bathrooms are clean and newly renovated. the buffet breakfast is simple but enough to fill you up. 2 minutes walk to the arc, metro station, champs elysees, and 20 minutes metro ride to gare du nord for the eurostar train. i would definitely stay here again.

"Great Location at the Arc" The best thing about this hotel is the location...at least for our purpose of watching the Tour de France. The hotel rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was great with a large selection of bread, yogurt, cereal, and juices. Our room was very small, with an extremely small bed (not even quite a double). If the bed was larger (it might have just been our room), it probably would be an excellent.

"Mac Mahon enhanced our first visit to Paris." This was our first visit to Paris and as such we had to rely on the advice of the travel agent (Thomas Cook) as to our choice of hotel. Our initial worries completely disappeared on arrival at the Hotel Mac Mahon. The staff were welcoming and helpful and initial impressions based on the smart, well-ordered reception area were good. The room was adequate in size, very clean and well furnished in a modern style. The balcony with easy access was a definite bonus and we enjoyed watching the activities on the avenue below. The buffet breakfast was substantial and available for a conveniently long time. (until 10.00am). The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is within a couple of minutes walk of the Air France Shuttle Bus terminal. Many tourist sites and shops are close-by and with a little more effort we managed to walk to the Seine, The Louvre, Notre Dame and Montmartre. We had a very enjoyable stay thanks in part to the helpful and pleasant staff at the hotel. We would definitely use this hotel again and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
