"Great hotel for luxury lovers"
wonderful service, great location. a classic European hotel. The decor is currently being renovated (which is nice but really not necessary). Not for lovers of sterile modern chic. Only complaint: European shower tho they do offer a jacuzzi tub. Very expensive? Of course.

"Good Location Nice Hotel"
I stayed three nights at the Majestic Hotel in April. I had a single room on the second floor which was lovely (if a tad on the small size). The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel provided all the amenities expected of a five star hotel. I got a really good deal on Expedia so was very happy with the hotel for the price I paid. I'm not certain the rooms are worth the regular hotel price though. And watch out for breakfast in the hotel. If not included it is extremely expensive (47 Euros from memory)!

"Would Highly Recommend !!!!"
Would Highly recommend this hotel ... Staff was incredible .. made us feel welcome at all times ... left a bottle of complimentary champagne with light snacks and little American flags in our room on July 4th ... nice touch !! Came to room one morning to make sure we were awake for our very early wake up call when our phone was showing busy after having been knocked off the hook sometime in the night. Very nicely appointed rooms .... very clean throughout ... I would give them 5 stars across the board ... hotel is located on the beautiful tree lined Via Venuto strategically located to just about everything ... easy walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, great shopping etc etc ...

"Great location and hotel"
We found the staff very helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel is ideally located and you can walk to many sights. The sightseeing bus stops just yards away. The hotel is spacious, clean and caters for all your holiday needs. Rooms were large, bright and airy. Bed was very comfortable and large. Good quality toiletries provided (including bathrobes and slippers for use whilst there). It was my husbands birthday whilst we were there and a bottle of champagne was in the room when we returned from sightseeing. Rome is very expensive, expect to pay 9 euros for a cup of tea or a bottle of water. If you go to the counter and ask for water and croissant to go it will be three time cheaper than if you sit down.

"Personal service and elegance"
Our stay at this fine hotel was beyond expectations. I have stayed at just about every hotel on the Via Veneto, except for the Excelsior, and can only rave about our accommodations and the level of service. This was a family trip for five; three of stayed at The Majestic;one in a suite, the others in a twin. The suite was lavish, with one and one-half baths, an enormous private terrace. The twin was very spacious, luxuriant of carpeting, drapery, three enormous windows, gorgeous view, crown mouldings, fifteen foot ceilings, an ENORMOUS bathroom, ,jacuzzi, marbled and mirrored. Our bedding was changed every day, the finest of linen and comfort; a breakfast buffet of elegance, enormous variety and perfect service. Our concierge and receptionists, primarily Claudio and Faisal, responded to any concern or wish..even to "topping up" our cell phone. Their restaurant recommendations were flawless. We left some items in our rooms upon our departure for Naples; they were catalogued and sealed in envelopes awaiting our claim. This hotel personifies European service and dignity, elegance and class. We can't wait to return.

"Real Class and quality service"
This is a fantastic hotel, with real class and quality service. My husband and I stayed at the Majestic for three nights booking in 3rd May 2007, and from the first sight of the hotel to the last we were impressed all the way, Our room was at the front and overlooked the Via Veneto, I agree with other reviews that the rooms are not large but neither are they tiny, they are very quaint but most importantly they are spotless and smart. The bed was very comfortable and it had beautiful white crisp quality bedding and there were lovely bathroom accessories which were replaced every day. We were pleasantly suprised when we were also greeted with a complimentary bottle of champagne, a lovely touch as it was my husband’s birthday. We ate in the hotel on the first night in the restaurant on the ground floor, the food was fantastic and again the staff and service was excellent, five star plus if you ask me! I would not hesitate to recommend this to all family and friends, the hotel is immaculate, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the location is just perfect. The hotel is worth every penny, it is really worth saving up that bit extra and staying here. Thank you to all the staff at the Majestic for making our stay so special in particular to Cloudio and Faisal for exceeding all our expectations

"An Excellent Choice In Rome"
We had two single rooms on the fourth floor for two nights in February 2007. The rooms were small but luxuriously appointed, immaculately clean and serviced twice daily by the cleaning staff. The beds and linens were of high quality. Public areas are grand. Windows are soundproof. Desk and other staff were friendly, multi-lingual and abundant. The location (near where Via Veneto "starts" at the Piazza Barberini) is convenient to everything by foot or by metro. Apart from the usual overpriced breakfast menus that luxury hotels cannot resist, the Majestic is an excellent value and we plan to stay there on future trips to Rome.

"recommend this hotel"
I wanted to give my husband a wonderful experience for his 40th birthday, We weren't disappointed, the hotel was fantastic, the staff multilingual, welcoming and friendly, the rooms were superb and decadent, the location ideal, just up from piazza barberini, the surrounding restaurants and bars excellent, if a little expensive. The whole experience was amazing and we will definately return.
