"Good spot"
We spent 3 nights in early July at this hotel. It was just right for what we were looking for. The location is great - you can walk to anything you want to see within the city (if you don't mind walking a lot!) There were plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The staff was friendly and spoke English very well. Our room had a queen bed and a pull out couch that worked well for our 9 year old.
Plan an extra $18 per day for parking. The garage is right at the hotel and they will bring your car out whenever you need it. This was very convenient and we never had a very long wait. Call from your room a few minutes before you are ready to leave.
The salt water pool was fun, but there is so much to see and do around Quebec, we only made it once.

"Central location"
We stayed here four days with our three small children. The staff were super friendly and superb at meeting our needs. They were very accommodating considering we arrived early and upgraded us to a more spacious room since we could not book the entire stay in one room online. Their breakfast was great, except for the eggs, but the variety and quality of everything else made up for that. Kids were free so it became extremely reasonable for us. We all enjoyed the pool since it was never crowded and immaculate.
Walking to the sites was not a problem at all especially with small children and they have plenty of shops and restaurants right at their doorstep. Would highly recommend this hotel and a secret tidbit..if you want to avoid the 2 level steps at the entance to the hotel, go in through their restaurant right around the corner.

"Home Away From Home!!!"
We loved this hotel!! It was beautiful, comfortable, the room set up was unique. If you have kids it offers privacy.. We had a perfect location to an amazing city.. The staff was helpful, kind and worked hard to make our stay the best ever!! The restaurants were great! I have read other reviews of this hotel and have to say, some of these people must be crazy. There is a staircase that you have the choice of waking up... there is also a street entrance with no stairs through the cafe. But honestly.. it is not like you are climbing a mountain it is just a few stairs.. People have gotten so lazy... it is insane. There is a bellhop who jumps up and down those stairs all day who will be happy to help with your bags. Honestly if you have a staircase in your home that is the same amount if not less stairs than in an average home. This hotel offers a POOL.. it is small, but it has a life guard, it is beautiful, there is a sauna... what more could you want? Very few hotels offer a pool in this city.. I will always stay here. LOCATION ROCKS, with kind and helpful people, there is NO SMELL.. They have a great laundry service!! We used it and it was perfect!!! It is so beautiful inside, they made us feel like royalty.. THANKS MANOIR VICTORIA!! WE WILL BE BACK!!! Renee, Suvi and Megan send our thanks!! We had a great time!! Stay here you wont regret it!! Fabulous hotel fabulous city!!!

Spot On
We were very pleased with our stay here ( 2 nights, July 2005). At the beginnning we got caught out with the Valet Parking, as you really need to have your belongings sorted out before you leave your vehicle; it is easier not to have to return to your vehicle once it is parked - although staff were very helpful if you hadn't got it right!! If you wanted your vehicle thereafter it was easy - 5 minutes after your call to Reception the vehicle was out front and ready to go.
Rooms were very clean and air-conditioning was both responsive and quiet. The bar/restaurant was very busy but there was so many bars and restaurants within easy distance it didn't matter. Quebec City (inside the walls) really is special and the street entertainment is a highlight - entertainment is frequent and of good quality. We were lucky- we had a room overlooking St Jean Street and could enjoy the acts most of the evening.
Quebec is very special and Manoir Victoria is just where you would want to stay; given its location inside the city, its access to cafes and restaurants and the sights and sounds around you.
We visited all the sights around the city and travelled extensively outside; the Manoir Victoria was an excellent base to do all this; we recommend it!!

Excellent location and service
Quebec is beautiful so is this hotel. Located on the heart of the city's night life attractions, beautiful streets and so close to most of the old town attractions and two restaurants on site. Hotel staffs are very nice and they have a smile on the face all the time and ready to help always. Free WiFi internet on the loby or you can use the paid one also. We had a great time and will go back to Quebec as well as to Manoir Victoria again. From the bottom of our heart we highly recomand this hotel.
