"Loved this beautiful resort!"
My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks from 20/6 to 4/7. I thought the resort was absolutely gorgeous. I would definitely go back! The rooms have all you need (although I did wish for a kettle!) The restaurant has so much food, to suit every taste. The staff are so cheerful and helpful, nothing is too much for them. The views are beautiful, and we loved the infinity pool. It was very surreal to be overlooking the River Nile. We didn't venture outside the hotel unless we were on an excursion as the hassle in shops was aggravating. I'd suggest the hotel shop which has loads of souvenirs, drinks, snacks etc. Water is extremely cheap, as you cannot drink tap water. The food at the pool terrace is very good value, and tasty too! The Movenpick Ice Cream is lush! You cant worry your whole holiday about what you are eating, but unfortunately, you are more than likely to get a tummy upset. The hotel shop sell a drug called Antinal, which managed to make us better. The excursions are great, we booked through Thomas Cook, which may be more expensive, but at least I knew what I was getting. The balloon rides are amazing. Also the Cairo by air excursion is well worth it. All in all, the Jolieville Movenpick Luxor is a first class hotel. Worth all its 5 stars! Great staff, great food and beautiful scenery!

what can i say about this resort its a fantastic hotel to stay in would definitely recommend it to any one. the infinity pool is great to relax in right in front of the Nile just sit back & watch the world go by. there is another pool which is for the adults only i have read on here that the rooms are dated well we have just returned July 07 the rooms are OK not as bad as some people make out although they could do with a bit of a revamp as the whole complex is absolutely fantastic . The food is also great you have different theme nites with 3 dirrerent restaraunts to choose from. there is loads more i have to say about this resort & hotel but not enough time to do it but all thats left to say is that if you book to go to this resort you WILL NOT be dissapointed the weather is very hot it was between 115 to 120f when we went also go on the trips to the valley of the kings & the dendra cruise they were brill we enjoyed it so much we are booking again to go next year this was our 1st time to egypt

No,- not an Egyptian call to prayer, but rather the poolside chant of beverages and cake making their way to your sunlounger at around 4.15 everyday; (melon pieces on skewers at 11am). All the 5 star superlatives have long since been used up, so this is just another addition to an already heady list of thousands of the "Very Satisfied's." Go nowhere else in Luxor - this is the one - Guaranteed !!

"Paradise"
Well what can i say it was the most relaxing, exciting, eye opening, luxurious holiday that i have ever been on. I went on a friends recommendation and it was all that she said and more. The weather is glorious not a cloud in the sky, the veiws are breath taking and the people are so friendly. This hotel is great because they are all bungalows and the rooms are emaculate. Food i sgood but be brave and go into town cos the meals are alot cheaper in town. I fed 4 adults 1 child drinks, big dinners and puddings for 30 quid. And the mcdonalds is an experience just go and see you will be amazed. already booked up for next year its a magical place.
