"Great Hotel!"
I've just come back from a long weekend at the Hotel Maritime with my boyfriend. The Hotel was in a great location,nice & quiet near the harbour and within walking distance of all areas of Copenhagen. Tivoli was about a 15 mins walk and the Little Mermaid about the same in the opposite direction. Metro was a 5 minute walk.
The room we stayed in was a double room,large bed, very clean, spacious, towels changed daily and the bathroom was a good size with a good shower. Breakfast was good with a selection of cold meats, bread / rolls, cheese,cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, and cooked sausages and eggs. Coffee and Tea was plentiful and available all day.
Copenhagen is a great City, we will definetly come back again maybe in the summer next time as it was very cold & Tivoli gardens wasn't open but it was nice to see Copenhagen in the snow.
Only thing I would say is that it's very expensive but I think as long as you know this before you go then you are prepared for it. The most shocking was that Beer was a ridiculous price of £4.90 a pint!! and chocolate bars worked out at £1 each!!
