`The staff were friendly and helpful and for the price` This hotel is about a 15 minute tram ride out/in to the city and a 5 minute walk (uphill) to the tram stop. The hotel is clean, with fresh bedding each day. The staff were friendly and helpful and for the price, the breakfast was fine.

"You Get What You Pay For" The rooms were basic, but they were clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were what was expected - cereal, yoghurt, cold meats, cheese - but plentiful. The hotel was a fair bit out of the centre of Prague (45 min walk to the nearest underground station) but the trams/buses were closer. For the price I paid, I have absolutely no complaints and it does state in the description of the hotel that it is outwith the centre of Prague.

"Clean and cheap but a bit far out" The Marketa is a clean, cheap hotel. No problems with the hotel. It's a bit far out from the town and you've got to have strong legs for the walk up to the tram stop when going into town. Apart from that, it's a nice quiet location if you want a good night's sleep.

The staff were friendly and helpful and for the price, the breakfast was fine. It did however, in parts, smell of cigarette smoke. There is a terrific little restaurant around the corner (although it calls itself a pizzeria) which serve every kind of dish you can think of, and cheap (just under £40 for 6 of us). I would thoroughly recommend this hotel without question. In my view it was above budget accommodation at a budget price. We had a great time.

"Room was very comfortable and neat" Room was very comfortable and neat, friendly and helpful staff.But The hotel was a bit further from the tourist attractions than expected.
