"Wonderful"
The hotel is directly on Champ Elysees making it perfect for shopping. The hotel is sandwiched between a huge Sephora Pefume Shop on the left and a lovely café/restaurant/pizzeria on the right. Along either side are several boutique shops, cafes, banks, cinemas and shops from Zara and Gap to Cartier and Louis Vuitton all within walking distance. The Arc de Troimphe is also walking distance from the hotel. The entrance to the hotel is simply the door which can be easily missed if driving past, the entrance leads to an escalator up to the main lobby which is tastefully decorated with plenty of seating, a piano, a bar and naturally the reception/ concierge desks. All the staff are multi-lingual and very polite, courteous and always happy to help.
We stayed in a deluxe room, which was small although satisfactory, overlooking the lobby. The room was clean and tastefully decorated, the bed was comfortable with lots of pillows, there is a plasma TV and adequate storage. The bathroom was small and the shower curtain looked like it needed replacing, other than that it was fine and adequate. The hotel provided a turndown service leaving Godiva chocolates in our room which was a nice touch.
The hotel is in a convenient and lively location, although we did not have any problems with noise or disturbance. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

"Wonderful hotel"
We stayed here with our Marriott Rewards points, and we couldn't have been happier! It was the best of both worlds -- a familiar U.S. hotel with a European look and feel. The employees are French (and love for you to speak French with them), but they do speak English. The service is impeccable. The breakfast is unbelievable (everything from meats and cheeses to fruits to crepes to croissants and pastries to individually prepared eggs and omelettes.) Our room was a large corner one with a king-size bed and a beautiful white tile bath. We asked for foam pillows and an extra bathrobe, which were promptly provided. They even brought us complimentary afternoon dessert and champagne because it was my birthday! Not to mention the fact that we could walk out the front door onto the Champs Elysees, with shops, restaurants, and cafes everywhere and a metro stop only one block away. If the price is within your budget (or if you're using Marriott points), you can't go wrong here. Enjoy!

"Went in tired, came out refreshed. Great hotel."
We just came back from 4 nights at this hotel. I admit I was a bit weary of travel when I checked in, but after 4 night here I was refreshed and ready to travel on!!!
Friendly helpful staff greeted us, We got into Paris at 9am from a tiring overnight train from Rome. We went directly to hotel, not expecting to be able to check in, but hoping to drop off luggage. The staff was so helpful, taking those suitcases off our hands in nothing flat, Such a relief. We went out, did a little eating and sightseeing, and did get our room before noon.
Location is wonderful This hotel is about 2 blocks from the Arc d'Triumph. Turn the other way and see to the Louvre. It is such a great and convenient location. A block or two from the best metro in the world!! Right on the Champs-Elysees,
The rooms were large and spotless, beds very comfortable, bathroom nice with a big shower and bath.
The staff was so helpful and not at all condescending. In fact, I felt very welcome in France.
We ate in several restaurants off the George V. we just went around looking at menus until one met our fancy. All were great. We brought our morning pastries from Paul's ( a bakery with many outlets , I noticed) They were good, and easy to get. I would go into one of the shopping arcades in the morning and get fresh squeezed orange juice form a stand there.
Internet access in the business center cost 12 euros for one hour or 24 for 24 hours. I was trying to save money and bought the 1 hour deal, which was penny wise pound foolish as I needed it longer.
I recommend this hotel very highly.

"Excellent hotel"
We spent five wonderful days at this hotel. The small entrance to the hotel does not show the beauty and size of the interior.
Our room was very large, (even more compared to European standards), the king size bed was like a cloud, with wonderful bedspread, sheets and pillows, and everything was in perfect order: the curtains, the furniture, the carpet.
The bathroom was very large and luxurious, separate bathtub and excellent shower.
You could use the internet buying a card at a very good price, and the employees were always nice and helpful.
The location of the hotel is unbeatable: right on the Champs Elysees, with all its excitement and constant movement, two Metro stations nearby (George V and Franklin D. Roosevelt) -it is very easy to use the Metro in Paris-, the Arc de Triomphe on immediate sight, and many wonderful restaurants within walking distance. You enter your hotel and all the noise of Paris disappears, you exit through the door and it is all there at your feet.
Of course, the best bet for wonderful dining is not on the Champs Elysees, but on the many small streets nearby. The best way to find delicious restaurants in Paris (or any other city in Europe) is to invest in a Michelin Guide. You can rely on their recommendations. One marvelous restaurant that is two minutes away (walking distance) is Spoon (famous chef Alain Ducasse from the Plaza Athenee). The food is outstanding and the service incredible. Another plus: the whole restaurant is non smoking.
The one fact that I did not like: the rates of the hotel are very high |

"Reccommend the Marriott"
We stayed at the Marriott in Paris for the first time today, and would Definitely reccommend to anyone. We stayed at a lower class hotel for the first few days and the Marriott is definitely worth the extra money. They treated us like royalty. I was made to feel like an 0ld friend. The employees were Very helpfull and extra kind. We even made friends with the Pavillion Manager. He noticed I liked the Brie cheese and every morning we came to eat he made sure The chef brought out a plate of Brie just for me. Sofiane Sebbah is his name. He would be an asset to any Hotel lucky enough to have him on the staff. I had trouble finding an adaptor for my American curling iron and immediately the hotel staff brought me one. The one I had purchased in the States didn't work, but the Marriott staff got me one that did. They all went out of the way to make sure our stay was perfect.

"Should be rated a 6 Star"
I had high expectations for this hotel and they were meet AND exceeded. Rooms were spacious and housekeeping certainly looked after you. Just prior to leaving the room for our evening meal, my yougest daughter (3yrs) got chocolate on the duvet , on our return around 9.45pm the beds were turned down and the messy cover replaced. All the staff were attentive, friendly and great with the children.
Location was perfect. If you're going to visit the Lovre and Notre-Dame, use the Metro to get there and walk back, this will save you getting overly tired feet.
Eating out wasn't as expensive as we had expected, meal for 4 (with a bottle of wine) on the Champs Elysees at a pizza restaurant cost 80 euro. On saturday nights all the restaurants are full and people queue outside, but it doesn't take long to get a table.
In conclusion, we will go back to Paris and we will stay at this hotel on our return.
Tips
1)Taxi from the airprot to this hotel cost 37 Euro, but then 47 Euro when we were taken back.
2)The metro cost 5.60E for four people to travel from Notre-Dame to Champs Elysees.
3)Queues for the Eiffel Tower looked bad but didn't take too long, we waited approx. 35mins. Go to the top the views are amazing and there's only one more tiny queue for the second elevator.
