"Leipzig Marriott" December 2 - December 6 2004. Was a wonderful hotel in which to stay at. It has a fantastic location, easy access to stores and shops, and travel. The food......perfect! The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and assist us with any needs that we had. I would suggest anyone stay here if you want to be treated like a royal family.

"Fabulous location" The Leipzig Marriott Hotel is very centrally located. It offers all the facilities associated with a 4 star hotel. It is clean, nicely decorated, great food, friendly staff. It also has a good security system and is only a short walk to great cafes, restuarants, bars and the largest train station in Europe.

"Highly recommended" I can only endorse the previous comments. An excellent hotel, well run, well maintained and well trained, friendly staff. We used the spa area and it was spotless, even at the end of the day. Checked in early, our room was ready and exactly as we had asked for - quiet, looking over an inner courtyard and on an upper floor. It was a standard room but spacious and very comfortable. (ROOM 514). Breakfast was amazing - probably the best Marriott breakfast I have had. We were there for the Xmas market and the location of the hotel was ideal - 5 minutes walk from the Bahnhof (where there is a shopping complex) and 5 mins from the old town hall and market square - which meant you could easily pop back and drop shopping off.

"Exceptional - A great Hotel" We have just returned from a weekend at the Marriott Leipzig and I have to say we were extremely impressed by this Hotel. The staff were very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the local area. Our room was spacious and comfortable including a king size bed (which is quite rare in Europe). Everything we requested when we made the booking was granted, including a great cheese platter on arrival and a room on a high floor. The pool and spa had great facilities, including very clean showers and lockers. We highly recommend Allie's American Grille for dinner, the food and service was excellent. The hotel is situated in a great location, 5 min walk from the main train station and a few minutes stroll to the main shops and tourist attractions.
