"Great View, at a price"
I stayed at the Marriott from Nov. 19 - 21 with my husband. The view from the room was spectacular (see the picture which was taken from our window) and we are on the 15th floor. The whirlpool bath was very nice, but couldn't see the falls from the tub, as was represented on the website. We did get a "fireplace" with our room, which was a joke and NOT worth any extra money. I think the extra cost for the fireplace might have also included a higher floor. Keep in mind, the taxes are crazy here...when we got our hotel bill, it was about $60 - $80 Canadian more than we were expecting, just from the taxes alone. The valet parking was not bad convenience-wise (but was also taxed so it was about $4 more per day just for taxes), as long as we planned ahead - you could phone in your car ticket number and it was waiting for us when we arrived in the lobby. Overall, the Marriott was very nice. If I was going to Niagara again, I would probably stay there, and the bill wouldn't be as much of a shock the next time around.
