"Excellent location, large rooms"
We stayed at this hotel over New Year for our honeymoon and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is located in the centre of the beautiful city and a couple of minutes from metro. The foyer is spacious and the staff are very welcoming and excellent service is offered. The room that we had was great although we had an issue with the air-conditioning (swiftkly fixed) Breakfast was plentiful and more than just the standard continental cheese and ham. The fitness centre was well equipped and included in the price. Only detraction from our stay was that the rooms can become very stuffy (no windows) and that the price was very high (even for a New Year stay)

"Loved it"
I stayed here for 4 nights in the autumn and just want to go back. The bed was divine, room spotless and the bathroom was a girl's best friend. I was there on business and wished I'd sneaked my husband in! I was really impressed with the food as I hadn't known what to expect, but it was all very tasty and well presented. 100% of my praise goes to the staff who were gracious and hard working. My only small niggles were that I like tea & coffee making facilities in my room (is this just a British thing?) and that you cannot open the windows of the bedrooms, although I was told you need to ask reception for a key (presumably they provide you with a mental health assessment and a disclaimer??!) Otherwise, top notch.

"Generally great, but forget the fitness"
I have spent in this hotel two nights (12. - 14. january) during a conference. Hotel is ca. 15-20 minutes from airport by taxi, which I did not pay for so cant tell the price. The location of hotel is convinient for exploring old town (15-20 min. to Charles bridge), its only 5 min. to main square and main shopping street. The staff is friendly and helpfull, they generally seem to be happy with their position. Rooms are spacious, althought not so special to cost almost 300 EUR/night. I found two minuses - internet connection in room is quite expensive (22 EUR/day), the same price is for wireless connection in the lobby. Other minus is that very much advertised fitness is actually part of a nearby shopping center - so you must go out of hotel and that air in fitness is terrible (more then it should be). Breakfast was better part of service with huge variety of food, but again maybe little overpriced - ca. 22 Eur again. If I would have chance to try other hotel in this category, I would go for it.

"First class accommodations and service"
Great location, nearby good shopping and dining areas. Every member of the staff was first class and very attentive to all of our needs, from the front desk to the business center to the brasserie to the barteneder to the concierge. All very helpful. Stayed in a junior suite and the room was very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. In particulalry the bed was very comfortable. I travel on business extensively and only stay in luxury hotels, and am therefore fairly picky. This Marriott exceeded all of my expectations, and was good value to boot. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague.

"Priceline Stay - Excellent Hotel, Excellent Value"
I manage to book a Priceline Stay here for 6 nights at the end of August for $100 a night. I received a room on the 1st floor facing the interior. The room was immaculately clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only minor negative was that I could slightly hear the people in the next room. The healthclub is first rate and I do agree that the pool is a bit narrow but there was only one other person swimming during the one day I used it. The pool was closed for maintenance on 2 of the days I was there. The hotel is in a great location next to a Billa supermarket, minutes from the Cedaz Shuttle drop-off (thanks to all for the tip) and the beautiful Municipal house. The concierges were helpful and gave great recommendations for restaurants.

"Great location, good value, excellent accomodations"
WOW...Praha is absolutely breathtaking. The city is very colorful, friendly and beautiful. Would go back in a heart beat especially with Priceline pricing (paid 105 USD per night) The Prague Marriot was great. Excellent location, right on the boundary of the old town. Which is great because it's slightly outside of the main touristy center. Very convenient to Old Town Square restaurants and transportation. Located just a stones throw from the Municiple house and Powder Tower. Hotel was grand, rooms were spacious with good closet space, minibar, in room safe and large bath. Free coffee/tea available from 5 AM to 9AM in lobby. Restaurant was good although only had breakfast one day. Staff was friendly, helpful and attractive. Beware of many tour groups which tend to all congregate at 9AM. Elevators at that time are impossible to use. Only downside of hotel was there was no stair option. We were on the 2nd floor and used the stairs once which let us out into kitchen - a bit wierd. Hotel is right next to small shopping mall, grocery store and secure ATM. Prague for the most part is affordable with many restaurant choices. Everyone we encountered were friendly and spoke good english (which is good and bad). Only slightly disappointing thing was the amount of tour groups, show peddlers and small tacky souviener shops. Best part was walking around and coming upon a different lovely square. Some areas are a bit seedy (far and few between), but nothing unsafe. New town near Wenceslas Square was a bit too commerical.
