Martelli Hotel is a traditional Florentine building dating from the sixteenth century, and used to belong to the Medici family. All throughout the property, guests can contemplate the crests of two noble Florentine families that once inhabited the building, as well as wonderful frescos adorning the walls.

Good location and value
Only 5 mins walk from the train station and located in one of the major busy streets in Florence. The male reception was not particularly polite but the female staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was big with many rooms and it's like walking inside a labyrinth before we can locate our room. The room was very old but clean. Breakfast was good.

Friendly, conveniently located and comfortable, good old style large rooms. Art lovers will apprechiate the decoration - frescos and statues in the lounge and corridor.
