"Cant recommend it enough!"
Top dollar but top class hotel, well worth the near 400Euros/nt prices. We stayed for 8nts on our honeymoon and loved the Mazzaro. All sea view rooms have basically the same perfect view. We stayed in room 129, room 135 has the biggest balcony if you're interested. Clean as a whistle, maid service twice a day. The location on the beach is beautiful with La Pigne Pizzeria next door a welcome lunchtime 50m walk. Clear, shallow water in the sea, good size pool. Could be v.busy in August admittedly, but then so is the whole of Sicily. Just a cable car away from the centre of Taormina with all it's shops and restaurants (go to Maffies). On my wife's birthday they put a bottle of champagne in the room (details on the passports) = v.nice touch. We ate at the hotel restaurant twice for dinner and had great food and service. The chateaubriand for 2 was awesome, just do not have ANYTHING beforehand, trust me. You can always have a dessert if you're still hungry, you wont be. We will be back!

"Heaven on Earth"
Booked this hotel after reading recommendations on the trip advisor site. The reviews were very accurate. The hotel is superbly located on the waterfront in a lovely little bay. The rooms are very tasteful and clean. All rooms have a balcony with sea view. Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful and made you feel very special. Taormina town can be reached by cable car which is just across the road from the hotel and costs 3 euro return trip. Starts at 7.30 in the morning and finishes running very late at 01.30. There are lots of lovely places to eat - the hotel serves lovely food and the menu is very varied. Breakfasts at the hotel are delicious with lots of choice. If you fancy a change from the hotel, there's a lovely family run restaurant on the beach. Just go down the steps near the hotel pool and turn left, walk round the corner and you will see it with grapevines all around it. Try the ravioli or cannelloni. Or for something special to do in the evening, try the Restaurant Baronnesa which is a rooftop restaurant with lovely views near one of the squares in Taormina. Will definitely stay at this hotel again. Also can recommend a boat trip to see the grottos. The boats are moored on the beach area near the hotel and I can recommend the boat called Sebastian, named after the owner. He is a local lively character who tells a good story and gives good recommendations.

"Best Location in Sicily"
We stayed at the Sea Palace for 6 days for the first part of our honeymoon. We can't recommend the hotel enough. The size of the room was perfect. The view was amazing and the balcony enormous. The breakfast was great although the staff could have been a bit more friendly. The best thing about the Sea Palace was the location. You have the beach and pool for the afternoons between 1-4 when most everything is closed. Then in the morning and at night you can take the skybus up to the nicer restaurants and shops. The skybus terminal is across the street! Also, if you take any day tours to any other places in Sicily, most all the tour buses pick you up right outside the hotel. We were very happy with our stay and would definately love to go back! Taormina is a beautiful and friendly place!
