"Overall would recommend"
Melia Sitges Hotel's rooms are extremely comfortable - we were on the third floor with a nice terrace and sea view. A/c very good. Pool was fantastic for the children: well run, clean and plentiful sunbeds. Food in the restaurant was excellent (especially the Paella) and the breakfast had everything you could want and top quality. The location is about 15 mins walk to the centre of Sitges which maybe an issue with young children. Overall would recommend.

Melia Sitges Hotel's staff very friendly. the location is great about 15 mins walk to sitges centre. great breakfast selection i was in heaven, lovely room and pillow menu giving u several different choices of pillow for a good nights sleep. this hotel has everything u could want, a gym, conference centre, internet access, great restraunt, swimming pool, spa pool, it was a an amazing experience.

"A real (excellent) 4 * hotel"
I stayed in Melia with my girlfriend. Melia is all you can expect from a 4* hotel. Rooms are very nice, beds are GREAT (never ever slept in het better hotelbed - not even in 5* hotels, and Melia has a pilow menu !). Rooms are more comfortable than Hiltons or Sheratons. Very friendly personal. The pool and poolside are a bit small will do for a few days, the beaches are nearby. The hotel is located about 15 minutes walk to town, we took a taxi which costs about 5 Euro´s. Also the hotel is close to the Sitges habour which has very nice restaurants - the harbour is a bit like St Tropez. We did try the food in the hotel and it´s not bad at all, and normal prices (not regular 4 or 5 * hotel food prices). We did saw other hotels in Sitges but we are convinced this is the best hotel to go. Sitges is a great place to go, Barcalona is only 30 min away with train. They say Sitges is gay friendly, I believe that. During our stay, especially during weekdays 80% of the people in Sitges are Gay. In the weekend is a real party in Sin street (in city centre - you won´t mis), also for hetrosexuals.

"Best Option on the Mediteranean"
I opted for the Melia Sitges after considering about every resort on the Mediteranean for a 5 day trip with my mother. I was looking for a good hotel, seaview and a small town with good restaurants and nice scenery. I am so glad i found all that -and more- here in Sitges. I booked the presidential suite and the connecting deluxe-room which is on the topfloor (6th) facing East and South. The large suite is ok in design and furnishings but just fabulous as far as location, views and glamour is concerned. With its 2 large balconies it has sunshine from the morning to the late night and absolutely breathtaking views over the Mediteranean and the old town of Sitges. At this price (approx € 350 a night) you'll not find more space (85 m2, about 120 m2 with the connecting room) and a better view. The suite offers a very large bathroom with full size jaccuzi which my mum very much enjoyed every day. The only downside to the room is that there are no coffee or tea making facilities, that the terrace furniture is a bit on the cheap side and that the description of the suite implies there are 2 double beds (it says 2x2 bed), but this really means that the one bed is 2 meter by 2 meter. If you want to treat yourself to some glamour, go here! The hotel staff is wonderful and all services and facilities are immaculate and well maintained. Don't worry about the walking distance to Sitges, it's just a 5 minute walk and you'll get peace and quiet in return since the area is very very quiet.
