"Great Hotel!"
I stayed at the Champs Elysees Plaza for 3 nights in March. We had 2 Junior Suites.
It's a really great hotel, we had a wonderful stay.
The rooms were very large (Huge by Paris Standards) and well appointed. Excellent King-size bed, large couch, coffee table, desk, breakfast table, stereo system. The room was also very quiet, since the hotel is situated on a side street.
On arrival there were fresh roses in the room with a box of Godiva chocolates. Each evening housekeeping left fresh chocolates in the room.
My bathroom was large - It had a large Jacuzzi and a seperate walk-in shower with waterfall shower-head. Each day the bathroom was stocked with Hermes bath products.
Breakfast was brought to the room every morning , exactly on time - Each day by a different person, but always with a very friendly attitude. This was typical of all the staff, always smiling, helping with directions & suggestions on where to go out and where to eat.
Some reviewers have mentioned the elevator - Yes, it's small - tiny in fact ; but it's very quiet :)
There wasn't a single negative thing to taint our stay at this hotel. I would stay there again when I'm in Paris.

"Fantastic Hotel"
This hotel has a modest front entrance and small communal lounge along side a small breakfast room. The staff are polite and yet functional with their discourse.
The hotel was mostly quiet and clean although we could hear the shower from the room next door. We could also hear some heavy footsteps from the room upstairs which we later found out was probably children running about. Although a little annoying it did not detract from the overall experience of the stay.
Although the room was not what we booked with Lastminute (we booked a Superior but were not allocated a superior). This was something we unfortunately did not realise until we were checking out and my wife and I started quizing the hotel reception.
Having said that, the room we were allocated was clean, well decorated and a good size despite being the smallest room in the hotel (as we were also told on departure). Highly recommended but be careful who you book with and ask lots of questions when you arrive to make sure you are getting the room you paid for!

"Lovely Hotel & Staff"
We booked directly with the hotel via email and received a terrific package (mona lisa). Stayed in a large suite (huge by european standards), with a fireplace, a luxurious bathroom with a jacuzzi and many other amenities. The bedding was clean, fresh and comfortable. Had the choice of having an adequate continental breakfast (included in our package), served in our room or downstairs in the modest area in the lounge.
The staff was extremelely cordial, helpful and professional. From the moment of our arrival, our needs were catered to, with hospitality and formality. All spoke english perfectly and were happy to do so if that was your choice.
The location is excellent if you choose to stay on the right bank. It is right off the Champs Elysees, in a small discreet street providing quiet from the busy larger boulevard. It is about 30 minutes to the Louvre by foot, but a few blocks away from the metro.
Discretion is the most noteworthy characteristic about this hotel. The rooms are removed from the common areas and from each other, providing a solitude and tranquility that is appreciated after a busy day of sightseeing and shopping.
I recommend this hotel without hesitation.
