Great hotel Very nice property with one caveat. The hotel is located on a pedestrian street. If you are arriving via car, be sure and print out the street map directions from the Accor hotels or Mercure web site. Follow the street signs directing you to the Renaissance Hotel. You will enter via the underground garage ramp with a small Mercure sign posted above the door. You will need to push the button on the call box and the front desk personnel will open the garage door for you. Very small elevator so you may have to make several trips if you have lots of luggage or people in your group. Once I figured out how to gain access to the lobby, I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel has just finished a complete renovation of its guest rooms, restaurant and bar. Decent sized rooms with comfortable beds, sparkling clean bathrooms and small flat-screen plasma TV. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice walking street behind the hotel with lots of shops, restaurants and bars. About 15 minutes from the city of Luxembourg via superhighway.
