"This hotel is a nice hotel in a good location "
Mercure Hotel Pattaya's rooms were nice and clean and a good size, bathrooms only have a shower if you have a standard room but have balcony. Even though they said they were fully booked there was hardly anyone by the pool. This hotel is a nice hotel in a good location for nightlife.

Mercure Hotel Pattaya's room was smallish (there is no bathtub), but had a reasonable balcony overlooking the pool where you could read & relax. It was nicely furnished in modern colours. Breakfast was great and the staff excellent in all departments. Allen, Riga

"Fantastic Mercure"
The Mercure is fantastic - very clean, sufficient room, delicious food (the Sunday buffet is gigantic), very nice + helpfull personnel , nice pool + aqua gymnastics - a calm oasis after shopping or sunbathing in Pattaya + Jomtien. We are just planning our holiday this year to go to Phuket. However, having the wonderful Mercure in mind it might very well be that we go to Pattaya again.

"Magnificent Mercure"
Just returned to UK after spending 10 days at the Mercure Pattaya. The hotel was brilliant; excellent service and the staff ultra-friendly with nothing being too much trouble. The hotel is away from all the "madness" of Pattaya which is only a 2 minute free tuk tuk ride away from the hotel which is located well away from the main roads. The tuk tuk service was available 24 hours a day and always very efficient! The buffet breakfast is absolutely fantastic with so much choice and would be hard to beat anywhere - eat as much as you like! The room was fine and we had an extra bed provided in our room for our 5 year old and still found it spacious enough. Bathroom is a little small but adequate. Pool is definately one of the best features of the hotel; it's very big and has a separate pool for the kids - 2 life guards on duty until 7pm everyday. I would highly recommend this hotel to singles, couples and families.

"Mercure is Another Low-Priced Gem from Thailand"
Selected the Mercure Pattaya for a 4 nite stay during an extended Asian vacation in April 2006. Limited info available on TripAdvisor at the time and elsewhere on other travel sites. Probably due to newness of property since only open for about 1 year. Its newness and value pricing more than compensate for its relatively remote location and lack of on-site dining choices. Hotel provides a regular shuttle to main dining/shopping area until about 1 AM-about a 5 minute ride. We selected a room with a queen and two singles for about US$55/nite for our family of 3 (teenage daughter-age 17). Didn't know what to expect as no room pics or further description. Walked in and found the two beds were actually a fun area of room designed for youngsters and decorated in a cartoon theme based on Warner Bros. characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, etc. One bed had a laddder/slide to get to the floor. This area also had its own TV with a Playstation hooked up. Great touch and my daughter got a kick reliving her earlier days. Our room faced the pool and had a convenient balcony. The pool area is surprisingly large and well-done. We enjoyed it daily. Wonderful stay in Pattaya at the Mercure.
