Tiny rooms
The Hotel was great on the whole , but the rooms are tiny , so its not suitable for disabled or the elderley. We also thought the restaurant was expensive so eat out . The breakfast was excellent and position of hotel excellent , staff most helpful too . |

"Hotel was VERY helpful and was wonderful!"
The Lourdes Imperial Mercure was a fabulous hotel to stay in. Not only was the hotel close to the sanctuaries and shopping streets, the hotel couldn't have been nicer and most helpful. We arrived after midnight due to a delayed flight and the hotel desk was waiting for us. The rooms had already been assigned and the parking gate was already opened for us. Usually, the gate has to be opened upon request. The hotel offered handicap accessibility for my mother who cannot walk and rides in an electric scooter. Mom's scooter battery charger died after day 2. The hotel lent us their wheelchair at no additional cost to accomodate us. That saved us from having to cut our vacation short. The room was a typical European sized room, but was magnificent. The entire staff was a pleasure. Any question that we had was answered fully with the front desk staff. They even offered directions and made reservations for our French dinner request. It seemed like every time we were to encounter a problem, someone from the hotel appeared out of nowhere to help us. For us- this hotel was definitely a 5-star hotel!!!
