General Information:Above the traditional Mercure-standard, Hotel Mercure Museum offers you a friendly, intimate atmosphere. The house is a monument building from 1890, which has been totally restored in a unique Mediterranean style, keeping its original beauty and elegance.Location:A historical building gives home to our hotel, which is situated in the heart of Budapest, right next to the National Museum, in the financial- and business district.Area:Just by a few minute walk you can reach several famous cultural and tourist highlights and monuments of the city, such as the scenic riverbank of the Danube, which is part of the world's cultural heritage, the Europe-wide famous synagogue in Doh�ny street, or the pleasant walking streets of the city. The most important offices are also easily accessible. As one of Europe's truly great capital cities, first time visitors are usually overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of the city. Divided in two by the Danube, the numerous vantage points from hilly Buda and Obuda offer spectacular views of a flat, busy, sprawling Pest on the river's eastern bank .The city offers as array of cultural, political, intellectual, as well as and commercial journeys for you to explore. While visiting the city, you can sip a strong brew at one of the many caf�s, dine at intriguing restaurants, shop at interesting markets or let loose at one of Budapest�s hip bars.Recreation:If you want to relax or freshen up, our fitness-centre is awaiting you with Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and massage. The use of these facilities is free of charge to our hotel-guests (apart from the massage).
