point review Lovely rooms, with comfy beds. TV with range of channels, very friendly staff. resturant was great, delicious food but book before hand if you want a table as it is quite popular. Room service is helpful, however there is a limited range of food to order from. Overall a very enjoyable experience and would recomend to others.

"Point Hotel's decor is 'funky'" Point Hotel's decor is 'funky', and my castle view suite was just that - the view was stunning, day and night. The room was large, and and comfortable without quite being deluxe. The location is ideal if you are going to the Edinburgh Conference Centre, which is only about 5 minutes easy walk away. "Point Hotel was a good standard " Point Hotel was a good standard for the price. The staff were really helpful and the rooms were modern and clean. It was going through a fairly major refurbishment, which I would have liked to know about. The unrefurbished showers were painfully powerful. It is also quite a stark and lonely feeling hotel.
