Macdonald Thames Lodge Hotel is a 19th century building with a modern extension sitting right on the banks of the River Thames. The hotel still has its own moorings, a tradition dating back to the days when it was known as The Packhorse and was used as a stopping spot for barges being hauled up the river to and from London.
