"Great Location"
This hotel is spectacular! I went on a class trip here and it is in the perfect location. In walking distance to about anything and near by the Metro. Great restaurants are right around the corner. The hotel has great breakfast and has a very nice bar. The rooms are very good quality and I deffinantly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Spotlessly clean and recently refurbished roomswith large bathroom, very comfortable bed. room much better than lobby and corridors would suggest. Not very spacious but perfectly fine as a base. Excellent location for pub lic transport and sights.

"It was good so I went back"
Planning another trip in Paris gave me the dilemma of going back to the Mercure Tour Eiffel or booking somewhere 'new'.. Well at least I know what i'm getting with this hotel and with that peace of mind I booked again. There maybe are better or cheaper hotels but if you want a nice clean modern hotel with friendly staff and an excellent location, you can't go much wrong with the Tour Eiffel. The hotel only had executive rooms left at a rate of 200 euro's which is expensive but as I said two years ago, you don't get many bargains in Paris. The rooms were on the first floor, with the window overlooking the street behind the hotel. The room has an interior door and was so quiet at night we were not disturbed. A well stocked mini bar, at a price, but in the bar downstairs, Happy Hour ran from 5-7pm - buy one get one free! The bathroom was clean, modern and all the usually shampoo's provided, hair dryer, shoe shine and a trouser press. TV had several channels and Pay TV.
Staff were extremely courteous, spoke several languages and were extremely efficient. No problems with bags on the last day being placed in storage. We caught the train and Metro to the hotel from CDG airport, which took us about 40 mins all told. A train ticket was 6 eu and then a book of tickets for the Metro, a 'carnet' was 1 eu per ride. One the way back we decided we decided to get the Yellow Van taxi from the hotel which was approx 18 euros each - The taxi being the most direct and better option, still about 30m.
Breakfast was expensive at 18 eu so next door is the Dupleix Bistro, a small cafe/restaurant that did a breakfast combo for 8 eu. There are a number of small restaurants nearby and just behind the Hotel is a small grocers shop for all the snacks & bits for the room. The Dupleix Metro staion is directly across the street and cannot be better placed. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket machine with credit cards and there is a choice of on screen languages. Instructions are easy to follow
As other correspondents have stated there is a 'colourful' markey underneath the Metro lines on a Sunday morning. A great way to start the day.
A very nice hotel, great location with friendly staff. Not the cheapest but if you want peace of mind then I would recommend this hotel.

"Location Location"
As per the previous contributions, this hotel offers so much in such a beautiful city. The location is directly on the M6 Metro line which links you to all the main attractions and RER rail stations. The staff are very courteous, friendly and most helpful. The rooms are very clean, modern and compact. The double door locks out all the ambient noise. The buffet breakfasts are more than satisfying but maybe pricey at 18 euros... but you will find that there ain't no bargains in Paris. There are very nice cafes and restaurants nearby that serve good and reasonably priced food. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this hotel and I would most definetly stay here again.

"Can't wait to return!!!"
My Mom and I stayed at the hotel for a long weekend in February and couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. The staff was so pleasant, the rooms were simple but very nice, and the location was excellent. There are several small nice places to eat around- but the metro is not even across the street- so you can get anywhere so quickly!!! The breakfast is impressive, and the bar is a nice place to unwind at the end of the day! On Sunday there was even a little market set up outside of our window!!! We hade a view of the Eiffel Tower from our window so we could see it lighting up at night and every morning when we woke up! I can't wait to return! I'd stay here again, no question!!!
