"Great Stay!"
My wife and I stayed for 7 days in Dec 2006. The room itself is indeed very small, certainly not much room to walk around or to place your luggage. But the fittings and furniture and layout are excellent. Gotta love the tv :)
I would definitely stay here again.

"Nice Hotel"
The hotel was very nice & CLEAN! The rooms had everything you needed. The staff were all excellent, Timmy, John & Filomena were totally awesome and helped you as much as they could. They really were short staffed and need more customer service. The rooms are great for 1 0r 2 people. The King size bottom sheets didn't stay on the bed right, need better fitting sheets, other wize the beds were very comfy.

"Very satisfied! Great deal!"
My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Meridian Hotel Maingate. Here's what to expect:
- small but newly renovated and elegant rooms.
- very comfortable beds
- bedsheets were a little too big for the bed and sometimes tend to pull out
- toaster oven and mini fridge were VERY useful
- great breakfast, although the same every day. Coffee was very good.
- friendly staff, nothing exceptionnal but acceptable
- clean pool
- Disney shuttles pick you up and get you back to the hotel. However, they are only a few in the morning and in the evening, so do not miss them. Evening shuttles were a bit disorganized and did not always follow the schedule that we were given. But we always made it back to the hotel safely, sometimes later than expected.
- The hotel is far from the airport, so if you are not planning to rent a car, use Mears shuttle service instead of a taxi, you will save big time.
- Only wireless internet available, so don't expect to find a desktop computer for emails. Try the Howard Johnson next door.
So if you want a clean, affordable and friendly hotel, this is a sure bet!
