"Extremley accomodating Merlin"
The lovely bronze ladies donning the enterance of the Merlin Copacabana Hotel, set the stage for this lovely hotel. The lobby is beautifully appointed and is a quiet and comfortable place to wait for friends. Our room, though a bit small was very adequate and comfortable and the bath and shower excellent. The breakfast room is elegant and the buffet presentation and selections were numberous and tasty. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. I've never seen a better hotel for the price. We were very pleased |

"Good Quality Hotel"
No complaints about this hotel at all. Friendly staff who organised all our activities for us if requested. Decent rooftop pool, good quality rooms and plenty of options at the breakfast buffet which was included in the price. The hotel is about a five minute walk from the top end of Copacabana beach which leaves you facing a long walk to Ipanema but other than that its a good quality hotel.

"Good choice"
We enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious and the bathroom was very nice. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. The breakfast selection was large, and the roofdeck pool was a nice touch. The only negative is that the hotel is located at the top end of Copacabana, near Leme. If you don't mind staying far from Ipanema, this is a good quality hotel.
