good hotel for this price Location is perfect (5 min from metrostation), rooms were small but clean; bathroom very small but clean; staff friendly; quiet neighbourhood at 10 minutes walk from gare du nord. Next time we visit paris, we book again. 3.2

"Nice Hotel." we planned with my boyfriend a romantic week-end in Paris. Concerning the accomodation we looked for a nice small hotel with a good position. "Great Location, Affordable, Lovely Staff" This is a clean, affordable, centrally located hotel offering basic services. We spent 3 nights here at the end of September 2004 and found its proximity to the metro at la chappelle extremely handy. It was affordably priced for central Paris, clean and comfortable. Definitely worth a visit.

"This Hotel Is just Great - I will come back Again" I was the last week with my girl friend at the merryl hotel for a romantic week end. And during all my life it's first time I stay in a so good hotel. The rate the staff everything is here for a wonderfull stay.

"Well worth a visit" Returned yesterday from a 4-night stay at the Hotel Merryl. About a 10-15 minute walk from the Gare du Nord, the Merryl Hotel can be found down a quiet side street just across from La Chappelle metro station. Our triple room was small and basic, with a small ensuite but it was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast room looks as though it has been recently redecorated and is also clean and tidy. The continental breakfast was sufficient to start the day ... and you can always ask for more if you want! The area is quite safe at night. Hotel staff are friendly, more than happy to help with your queries and speak English for those whose French is limited. The hotel is situate in a predominently Arabic/Indian area which made the choice of local restaurants very varied and interesting. Would definitely recommend a visit and would stay there again.
