"We Loved This Hotel" We stayed at this hotel in July this year. As a family with a varied age range (16, 15, 12, 5 & 2) we had a great time. The older ones found enough to entertain themselves in Es Cana and the little ones loved the pool and beach. The hotel itself was clean & tidy and the rooms were fine. The food was great for buffet food and it managed to satisfy all my kids fussy tastes! The entertainment at night was ok some nights better than others. Only negative was that you had to be waiting for the pool doors to open at 8:35 am otherwise there is no chance of getting a sunbed around the pool. Hoping to return soon!!

"Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!" Went for two weeks half board, with my wife and two daughters aged 3 and 5 years old. The room which had two double beds was very clean, a reasonable size with a sea view. At the end of the day we did not go to Es Cana to spend all day in our hotel room, so for what we required it was excellent. The maid service was daily, and they worked to a very high standard. The hotel was spotless, except for the toilets by the pool where kids (from the UK) found it amusing to attempt to flood the place! OK I accept previous comments regarding the sun bed situation, but if we could not get a sun bed by the pool, there is very nice beach right outside the hotel, and if you are prepared to walk for five minutes definitely visit the Playa Cala Nova beach - this is stunning. And contrary to reports it is not the German's that throw towels on sun beds and and do not use the sun beds all day - at this hotel it is the British! All the staff in the hotel were polite, helpful, and did everything possible to make you feel welcome. The kids entertainment team of Kai, Tobi, Chris, Karin and Steffi were fantastic. They certainly earn their money. The Half board meals were very good, we had no problem finding something for my daughters to eat at every meal. Breakfast is probably better than the evening meal, but I could not complain about either. Evening entertainment was "entertaining"! Some acts were actually quite good - The Temptations group, the drag artists, the Abba girls and the magician are worth watching. All of the other acts were watchable, but the main thing is (if you have kids), they all kept my kids entertained. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and will definitely be returning in the future.
