impressive upgrade booked this hotel very late in the afternoon for that same evening and got a tremendous rate of 57 pounds for bed and breakfast for the room, then when checking in asked if there was any chance of a room overlooking George Square without and further questions we were upgraded to a Club room on the 2nd floor directly overlooking the Square.The room was large and also had a seating area with a table, robes were provided but wernt used. I would just like to say what a very good price and impressive upgrade provided by the staff which added to our romantic last minute getaway for the night 4.6

"very welcoming and comfortable" Millennium Hotel Glasgow was very quiet due to the time of year and staff very attentive. Club room was a bit disappointing. Whenever we visited the club room for coffee, we had to go hunting for milk etc. Facilities at the hotel were very good and the public areas were very welcoming and comfortable. "very ice hotel" I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 2 years, and each time have enjoyed my stay. There is a big difference in the rooms however; the first time we had a very nice room in the new part of the hotel. Although this room as quite small, the furnishings were very nice. The next time we stayed, the room was in the 'old' part of the hotel. Different room, but still very nice. Large room, with a large bathroom. The last time we stayed, we had booked 4 rooms. All of the rooms were very small, and some of them had tiny windows. This was a bit of a disappointment, given that we'd had 'better' rooms thus far. But: the rooms were clean all the time, and the location of this hotel is excellent! Besides, we did not come to Glasgow to stay in our room all the time. The bar downstairs looks out onto George square and is great for people watching. There is a breakfast buffet, unfortunately only with cold items - but a fairly large selection. Hot breakfast can be ordered. Next year we will go to Glasgow again, and we will stay at the Millennium again. Hopefully the room will be a bit bigger than last time, but even if not, I am sure we will enjoy our stay.
