"Great Hotel"
Just returned from a lovely weekend in Riga, where we stayed in the Monika Hotel. The hotel is about 15mins walk from the old town, but in a nice quiet area. Would stay again if visiting Riga.
Room was a good size even though we did not have a view, it had a very good shower and bathroom was also a decent size.
Overall its a good hotel, one tip get a red taxi to the airport as it is cheaper then the ones the hotel books |

"Excellent hotel"
Stayed here late August 2006.
I think this modern hotel (in an older but compeletly renovated builing) has it all ! Great location in the Art Noveau-district, just a 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes tram-ride from the old town, very spacious rooms with comfortable beds and a large, nice bathroom, not to mention the extremely rich buffet breakfast. Simply one of the best hotels we´ve ever stayed at, and for a very fair price it was. Highly recommended.

"Brilliant"
Just came back from Riga. We stayed at the Monika Centrum
Hotel, our room was a double the veiw was on to Elizabete Iela
it was a good size room with a bath and overhead shower . The breakfast was great, anything you could ask for. The staff were lovely very helpful. Old Riga is about 10 mins walk from hotel loads of shops and plenty of parks which are well kept. When there make sure you go to the Skyliner bar which is 5 mins away from the hotel the veiws are spectacular. our break just wasnt long enough so fingers crossed we shall go back soon to this lovely city and hotel
