"Our first ever upgrade!"
We stayed at the Montcalm for 2 nights in early November. We booked a 'romantic break' package for our anniversay direct with the hotel which included chocolates and champagne in the room and full english breakfast. On arrival we were delighted to be upgraded to a Duplex Suite, which was very spacious, with huge windows and could be entered on 2 floors. The hotel was very quiet and ideally positioned for Hyde Park and Oxford Street, and hand for Marble Arch tube. We had breakfast in our room one morning - brought in on a beautifully laid table (if a little cold) and in the restaurant the next day. We picked a busy time so service was quite slow, but otherwise we couldn't fault the hotel. Would definitely recommend it for a relaxing weekend break.

"First Class All Round"
I booked a Montcalm Interlude weekend package for my husbands birthday from which we returned yesterday.The package included parking for one car, complimentary newspaper each morning and full english breakfast. Everything about the hotel was fantastic and we cannot find one negative thing to report. The room was spotless, room service superb and the breakfast excellent. All the staff went out of their way to be helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Yes, drinks and food are expensive but no more then what you should expect to pay in a hotel of this class!! It's in an excellent location, just 2 minutes walk from Oxford Street with access to the underground if you don't fancy walking too far!! We wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel again and are already planning a return trip in the summer.

The Location was perfect, London Bus tour starts there. Located on oxford street. The hotel has a japaneese touch to it. Breakfast was boring, the service was great. Staff, room, service and the ambience is good. London hotels being very expensive. Montcalm is a safe bet.
