"Very nice hotel"
We had a nice time at the hotel. The rooms are clean and quite spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Moreover, the hotel is very well situated with easy access to the heart of Paris. We were there on holidays and would highlyt reccommend this hotel. Very good price for quality!!! We plan to return there for our next stop to Paris

"Great Hotel Close To Everything"
This hotel was 3 blocks away from the metro station, safe neighborhood....the breakfast lady is mean and doesn't even let you take sugar to your room...but you get over that....small hotel but it's europe...it was fantastic and very clean...no complains whatsoever...except that the staff could be friendlier....

"JDP Alésia on rue Alésia is charming"
6 of us stayed at the JDP Alésia, a charming 3-star hotel on rue Alésia about 1/2 way between 2 métro stations. Generally, we used métro Alésia because there is a nice selection of restaurants and even a cinéma. The staff is very helpful and kind, answering questions and giving directions in English if you need it. The beds are comfortable, the pillows very nice, and the rooms are cleaned daily. There are views of the Eiffel Tower on one side of the hotel. We stayed 5 nights and would return again. There is a hospital and a fire station nearby in case of emergency. The petit-déjeuner has wonderful croissants, and good cold milk. There is a Monoprix grocery store between the hotel and the Alésia métro station that has fresh fruit and bakery items, including Pain Poilâne so you don't have to stand in line on rue de Cherche Midi!!! We ordered our loaves ahead of time and picked them up the day before we flew home. The cost is approximately $7.50 compared to $35.00 if you order them and ship them home by Federal Express!!! Along rue Alésia are many charming boutiques and antique stores. It is very near the women's outlet stores.
