Buona posizione centrale per un albergo adatto esclusivamente a comitive di turisti. Odore sgradevole già nella hall, arredi "consumati", scarsa pulizia e nessuna atmosfera. In aggiunta personale poco sollecito. Camera molto spaziosa ma poco elegante e sporca (moquettes macchiata in diversi punti) |

"Great hotel experience"
Recently returned from a long weekend at the Hotel Mundial in Lisbon. The interior of the hotel was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Our bedroom overlooked the square and fountains with floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors leading to a balcony which was the whole width of the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was my husband's birthday during our stay and the maid reported a birthday card to the management, who sent a bottle of champagne and their regards to our room that evening.
The hotel restaurants were very good. Breakfast was a large buffet with an excellent choice. Dinner was served in the restaurant on the 8th floor with wonderful evening views over the city (book early for a window table). We found the menu and wines very good.
Overall, a fabulous weekend and if we decide to go back to Lisbon for another weekend in the future, we would not hesitate to stay at the Mundial.

"Super location!"
The location of the hotel is super! The historic tram nr. 28 stops in front of the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The bathroom is very large and had everything it needs: bath and douche, sink, toilet and bidet (nice detail: there are bathrobes). The buffet in the morning is very big, with a lot of diversity. I really recommend it.

"Great central hotel - stay here!"
Great hotel!It's central but not noisy.Staff were really helpful, especially the bar staff who served us lots of great cocktails with smiles and banter.The breakfasts were excellent lots of choice in a very nice large dining room.The single rooms we had were lovely!
The hotel is within very short walking distance of good restaurants and shops.
This is an excellent hotel for any age group.I recommend you go there.

"Very Good Hotel"
We stopped at the Hotel Mundial, Lisbon, for 4 nights in June 2006. The hotel staff were pleasant, professional and polite (I wouldn't say friendly, but we were not bothered about that). We had a room on the 8th floor at the back of the hotel which had a fantastic view over the rooftops and river. The bathroom was massive. Room service was very efficient and the breakfasts were lovely with a good choice of very fresh food. We did not have to queue for breakfast for more than about 4 minutes. We have no complaints at all. Excellent value for money for location in downtown Lisbon.
