Nadia Hotel was totally refurbished in 1999 and accomodation is standard throughout, aside of every room being a different shape and size! The Nadia is housed in a historic, canal corner, gallery building and underneath the hotel is an arcade of traditional Amsterdam shops and restaurants. NB. No elevator but plenty of atmosphere!
The central situation of the Nadia, combined with an extremely friendly atmosphere, make this a superb choice as a base from which to explore Amsterdam. |

LOCATION
Nadia Hotel is located right in the heart of Amsterdam, just a few steps from the Dam square and the famous Queen Palace.
The location of this hotel just speaks for itself! - 1 minute to Anne Frank's House, 5 minutes to Dam Square, 10 minutes to the Flower Market; in other words within a walking distance of all major sights, museums and shopping areas.

PROPERTY AMENITIES
* There are a choice of coffee shops, restaurants, bars and lounges close to the Hotel Nadia.
* The breakfast room is located on the first floor and is fairly small but has a small balcony overlooking Amsterdam and the canal. This room is open all day so people can make themselves tea and coffe, help themselves to biscuits and even cook in the small kitchen if they like so long as they clean up after themselves.
* The hotel will be under renovations between the dates; 07-02-2007 / 01-03-2007/08:00-17:00. |

* Rooms are small but creatively designed and all offer the same level of comfort with plenty of storage space. There are a choice of comfortable rooms at the hotel. Many have balconies and windows with a view of the canal. Each room is equipped with bathroom, cable TV, refridgerator, in room safe, direct dial phone and internet point. Business services, laundry service, baby sitting, Airport shuttle - local charge, internet access and room service.
*Hotel Nadia features 38 guestrooms with one double or two twin beds and can accommodate two guests.The bedrooms are very nice for this category of hotel and some have views over the canal, and some have small balconies. They are all in good condition although some are smaller than others. the bathrooms are also in good condition. |

We stayed at the Nadia in Jan 2008. We were expecting the rooms to be small and were right, they are, however the generous hospitality of the owners / management certainly made up for the small rooms. They could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. They even upgraded our rooms to balcony rooms. Stairs are incredibly steep, but they help you with luggage etc, so as long as you can get yourself up them you are ok. We had a great stay. |
