"harmonic area"
We have just returned from a short trip to Paris and Euro Disney. It is a small size hotel and the double room we had, was very small, yet very clean. The hotel is situated in a save touristic area - only a short walk away from the metro station Madelaine, close to the Opera and only three stops away from Gare de Lyon - which was an important fact to us, when exploring Paris all day long and returning to the hotel at late hours. The staff was very friendly and helpful and communication could easily take place in english.

"Great location, nice hotel, friendly/helpful staff!!"
My 17 year old daughter and I stayed at the Hotel New Roblin from 5-10JUL, 2007. Our flight arrived early a.m. so they held our luggage until we were able to check into our room about 1pm. We were off on our own after that - even though we had no idea where we were going! We walked and found the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe. It was actually only a few blocks from our hotel once we realized which direction to go in. We did take the metro back to our hotel since the Madeiline Metro station is just around the corner which was very convenient. We also took L'Open Bus Tour whose stop is
within a block of the hotel also and this was very convenient. They off 4 different tour routes throughout Paris with a number of
'day' passes - a great way to see all the major attractions!
Our room was small but that was to be expected. We had 1 queen bed in the bedroom, with a tv, phone and honor bar & mini fridge. The bathroom was separate and very ample. There
were french doors that opened overlooking a courtyard type view - it was actually just the roof of part of the building but it was still nice to have fresh air. The only drawback is they were doing construction nearby so it could get quite noisy. We were also on the top floor so we could hear the pigeons on the roof over our bathroom - luckily they could not be heard in the bedroom area.
The front desk staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. We did not use the restaurant or the bar. There are many cafes and shops around the block and easily within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!!

"We Liked This Hotel"
My partner and I had a 2 night stay at the Roblin last Friday and Saturday, having travelled with a group of friends to Paris on Eurostar from London Waterloo. Contrary to the previous reviewer we found the people at reception very polite and helpful, and check-in was totally hassle-free. We were in room 215, which was at the back of the hotel overlooking an inner courtyard. The room was comfortable and quiet, with a separate bathroom and a separate toilet off a small inner foyer with a space to store luggage.
The position of the hotel is excellent for access to most of the areas which a tourist would want to reach. We walked as far as the Ile de la Cite in one direction and the Eiffel Tower in the other.
We were on a bed and breakfast package, and the breakfasts in the dining room were typically continental and very acceptable. We did not dine in the restaurant or use the bar so cannot comment on those. On Sunday they were happy to store our bags for us after we checked out in the morning. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. We'd happily stay here again and recommend it to friends.

"Great location; nice room"
The location was perfect and centrally located. I really liked the neighborhood--not touristy. The metro is nearby, as are 2 gourmet food shops (if you are into that), and a Starbucks.
The staff was helpful, but not overly friendly. There was one staff member that was very nice and helpful. He definitely stood out as one of the nicest people we met in Paris. The other one worked at Starbucks.
We had kids and were able to stay in a suite. We got an internet rate for about 350E. Which I thought was great since we would have had to buy two separate rooms otherwise. The suite was spacious and clean, with the kids in a separate room. The decor was sort of country with exposed beams on the ceiling. This room was recently redone because I could tell the upholstery was new. Also, remarkably quiet.
I can only comment on the suite. I tried to take a peak at the other rooms and the quality seemed consistent with our room. The lobby and new restaurant are very nice.
This is not a 5 star hotel. The rooms are not luxurious, but that is not our style anyway. If you want a nice room in a great location, I think you will be happy here.
