"very near the centre " Nh Berlin Mitte Hotel is very near the centre and the office I had to visit, also near to the Bundestag and MP's offices. Very practical, modern and everything works. The hotel had no proper restaurant or bar as all of that area is being renewed. The 'value for money' at 'fair' is based on this. Eddy, Pruhonice

"A great find" A large group of us stayed in this hotel over the New Year Bank Holiday Weekend. The communal areas were swanky and welcoming and without exception the staff were very friendly, booking taxis to the airport and giving helpful tips thoughout our stay etc It was the little touches that really made my impression of the hotel. We were due to check out on New Year's Day and were allowed to keep our rooms until 3pm without additional charge. In addition the brunch on our last day was extended until 2pm to allow for a lie in after the inevitable big night out before. They even let us put the english footie on in the bar until we went to the airport. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The rooms were amazingly clean, comfy and well stocked (lots of storage space, hangers, hairdryer, sat TV, free safe, lots of mirrors, freebie toiletries) The location was perfect, we got one tube during the entire trip and walked everywhere else. I would certainly stay again and would recommend to friends and family.

"Nice and practical hotel" We stayed in this hotel in march and were upgraded as the options we requested were not available. The room was very functional although I would have liked to see the lower class rooms as ours wasnt fantastic. The good thing about NH is that you always know what you are getting, with slight adaptations to the local habits. The great thing about this hotel is it's location: 300 yards from Checkpoint Charlie and in walking distance of the Brandenburg Gate, the museums and Alexander platz and al lot of shops! Very convienent for Schonefeld airport, too! I would definitely stay here again.

"A great stay in NH Berlin Mitte" We returned yesterday from a weekend in Berlin and i was so impressed by this hotel i felt i had to leave feedback. The hotel is ideally located and is very clean and welcoming. The rooms are of a good size, very modern, clean and airy. Our room was located at the back of the hotel and was very quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going to Berlin and I'll definitely stay there again when i visit Berlin.

"Beautiful Berlin Germany" The hotel was great and close to the Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charley and other historical sites in the fabulous city of Berlin! The Service was excellent and staff very helpful. Most exciting city I've ever been to. So much history, music, musems, great shops and restaurants. I think you would need at least a week there probably more to see just the major attractions. It is just awesome, so full of great stories and wonderful guides to show you around. The Museums on the Museum Island are so incredible. There is an altar from Ancient Greece, a Byzantine Room and much more. That needs a day just for that. Charlottenburg Palace is gorgeous even just the outside. If you like shopping you should visit the Ka-Da-We, a huge department store with a whole floor devoted to food with over 1000 kinds of cheese. Breads, wines, fish, desserts everything!! The Unter den Linden where the Brandenburg Gate and the Riechstag are is just as fabulous as you always thought. The Kaufferstendam is full of beautiful and expensive shops you can window shop for hours! Potsdam is close by and well worth a day trip. You will see where Churchill, Truman and Stalin meet and get the whole background of that historical occasion. Can't wait to go back. It is not cheap there but worth the trip.

"Pleasurable stay!" My husband and I stayed at this NH Hotel on a Globus tour and enjoyed its location and amenities. Easy walk to the Bundestag, Marlene Dietrich Platz for fine dining, near the casino, and only steps away from the former Checkpoint Charlie! Hotel room was very nice, restaurant served good food and staff were engaging. Would definitely stay there on my own if the occasion arose!

"Very Happy Here!!!!" Excellent location, close to the Underground and historic sites. Blocks away from shopping and restaurants. I went with a superior room which was very clean and comfortable, perfect view of Museum across the street. Excellent staff and very couteous.
