From the airport take the A4 highway, then the A10 followed by the S109. Take the exit for RAI and at the end of exit, turn right. Continue through the next three sets of traffic lights. At the RAI roundabout (4th traffic light), turn right onto President Kennedylaan. Follow this road onto Amsteldijk. At the end at the T-junction turn right over the Amstel. Keep to the right and at the next traffic lights turn left on to Weesperstraat. Continue straight, keeping to the right. At Mr. Visserplein roundabout will be on your left. Take the 3rd exit off it. Parking facilities at “Muziektheater” are on your right.

"ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED"
This was my second visit to this hotel and it was brilliant. The hotel has had a complete rennovation and everything is new.
The staff were excellent as usual and I had no problems durning my stay. The hotel is located in an excellent location and most major tourist attractions are easily accessible.
I will deffinately go again.
You can get a better deal if you don't book through hotel's own website. GTA hotels has good deals on all NH hotels

This is the 2nd time me adn my partner have stayed at NH Caransa, in 2005 and last week. We had a great time, The rooms have been renevated to a high standard.

"GREAT LOCATION IN AMSTERDAM"
We are just back from a stay at N H Caransa hotel in Amsterdam.The hotel,staff and location were all excellent.What an enjoyable time we had here and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.The hotel is located right on Rembrandt Square and the bars and entertainment were great.It was our first time in Amsterdam and we are already looking to book again but only in this hotel.A four star hotel at great rates.Brilliant!

"One of the best"
We just come back from Holland, and stayed 7 weeks at the Caransa hotel. We've stayed in many hotels around the world, from 3 to 5 stars, but the Caransa ranks with the best. Not as flashy as some, but very clean, excellent staff who all speak English and at least another language besides Dutch. Breakfast is plentyful with a choice of two restaurants, one at the Caransa, and the other and bigger and very cosy at the Schiller across the Rembrandts Plein, one of the great nightspots in Amsterdam.
Nothing but praise for this excellent establishment.
