"Great Hotel in Great location" Just back from a 2 night stay at this hotel and was a liitle worried about staying after some of the reviews that were posted. Our room was at the front of the hotel and was very spacious with a lovely modern bathroom. The staff were very nice and friendly. A good hotel to stay in as you are within walking distance of Dam Square Anne Frank's house etc. Well worth a visit and will certainly stay again on our next visit to Amsterdam.

"PerfectThis" This hotel is superb... clean, great breakfast and perfect location, right in the center of Amsterdam. Our room was ok, maybe a little bit small, but with a wonderful view on the canal.

"Great Hotel" The locality of the hotel is excellent overlooking the canal on one side. We stayed in room 218 for two nights and had our own double balcony which was superb. Room was very acceptable as we only paid £110 per night including breakfast, which I must say was good value. As far as cleanliness is concerned we did not find the hotel dusty as the previous review stated. Room was cleaned and towels and bedding changed daily. Breakfast was excellent value and a superb view over the canal whilst you are tucking into a hot or cold breakfast. Reception was very accommodating and helpful as we had booked a non smoking and they had allocated us a smoking room, they changed this without too much effort, which is a bonus. I would definately stay at this hotel again mainly due to the locality as the other hotels around Dam Square are noisy from traffic and also they are putting a new metro line in so the cranes and diggers are working all the time.
