"loved it!!!"
This hotel was very chic and modern, it was worth the price, situated in Las Ramblas, in a small street nearby, not in the main center but lovely!
The room was good, an ammenities too. The bathroom was very nice! Excellent service. Nearby Tour buses, and everything!
wWe would stay there again. we stayed from 11-13 March, 2007.

"great value hotel"
we booked direct with hotel having read favourable reviews on tripadvisor. modern, clean, fabulous position, excellent buffet breakfast if you feel like a large breakfast otherwise just have breakfast at one of the many little cafes around the hotel. we were a party of women and we booked the superior rooms and asked for a balcony if possible. all 3 of our rooms had balconies, were a decent size and absolutely spotlessly clean with bedlinen etc changed daily. Liked the laminate flooring as is cleaner than carpets i feel. had no reason to use reception as we had done all our own research re restaurants, shopping etc however they were very pleasant whenever we did speak to them. a few steps away from the ramblas, good shopping and the Cathedral in the heart of the Barri Gotic which for me is the best area to stay in. just under £100 per night for the room. will recommend hotel and will use again and that is the opinion of our whole party.

"Great location and very quiet"
Stayed in the Duc de la Victoria for 3 nights in May. Couldn't fault the hotel itself - very clean, ok size rooms, nice queen size beds, good sized bathroom and working air-con. The view from the room wasn't much to write home about (looking along a narrow street), but you don't go to Barcelona to stay in the hotel room admiring the view.
The location of the hotel is ideal, just a couple of minutes walk from La Ramblas. Even though the hotel is very central, it is on a quiet pedestrianised street, so you don't get any of the noise as with most hotels in this busy city.
Overall - very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend to others.
