"Excellent Airport Hotel"
Great hotel at a great rate.
We had to spend one night in Frankfurt before catching an early morning flight the next day. This hotel was extremely convenient, reasonably priced, clean, stylish, and well-equipped.
We flew into Frankfurt and found the shuttle to the hotel fairly easily. The driver spoke English. Actually everyone associated with the hotel spoke very good English. Good thing since we speak no German. It was probably between 5-10 minutes from the airport to the hotel. Only complaint: holy cow! The driver drove so FAST it was a bit unnerving.
We got in rather late, but the hotel restaurant was open and served us a good dinner.
We slept well in our very comfortable and quiet room, and caught the early morning shuttle back to the airport at the crack of dawn.
Our stay was very short, but I would not hesitate to stay here again next time I need to do an overnight layover through Frankfurt airport.

"Splendid Airport Hotel"
Due to a delay Olympic Airlines placed our tourgroup in this hotel. The hotel is decorated in a fascinating and ultra-modern style with heavy Japanese and Scandanavian influence. The staff spoke excellent English and were friendly and professional. There was free internet in the comfortable and well-appointed lobby. I had both lunch and dinner at the hotel and the food was excellent and was presented in a very trendy fashion.
The rooms were incredibly luxurious with gigantic pillows, high quality linens, and comfortable mattresses. The room also contained a granite desk, television, and recliner. The bathroom was large and sleek, and the shower had very good water pressure.
Every part of the hotel was immaculate, and I noticed the cleaning people in the lobby paying incredible attention to detail.
If I had one reservation it would be that I did get somewhat hot, and I cannot recall if the hotel had AC or not.
Overall, it was an excellent experience and made me actually happy I had the delay.

"Best value for Frankfurt Airport, clean and modern"
I booked a triple for the last night of our trip before flying home.
The rate was booked through the hotel's own website and was excellent.
The room was nice, modern, good modern bathroom with extras.
I was extremely pleased with my choice (based on trip advisor reviews.)
Please be aware- there are TWO NH hotels near the Frankfurt airport. There are TWO different NH shuttle buses to airport hotels. Make sure you are on the right one or following the right one. We had a rental car and wanted to check-in before returning the rental car.
Since the directions to the hotel were complicated, we decided to follow the shuttle bus. Unfortunately, we followed the wrong bus and ended up at the wrong hotel. The hotel was unable to give us driving directions to the other NH so we went back to the airport, turned the car in, and made sure we were on the right shuttle for the hotel.
I thought the hotel was great, quiet, modern. We were one of the only full tables in the restaurant. There was not much of a selection for dinner so we all ordered the same thing- some type of schnitzel. It was tasty and well-cooked.
My friends were sad that this NH was not nearly as "happening" as the other one- but I was happy for the peace and quiet the night before our long flight home.
The shuttle bus to the airport in the morning was extremely convenient. One word of caution and one tip:
Word of caution- get down to the shuttle early the day of departure. The mini bus is only so big and we were lucky to get a place as there were more people waiting than spots on the bus.
Tip- I stored luggage at the Frankfurt airport for 3.50 euro/day which was wonderful. I did not have to cart all my bags with me so it was fantastic. They have a great safe system and the spot to store luggage is at the "departure" area between terminals one and two. I picked my bags up as I was getting ready to check-in for my flight and took only a small carry-on to the hotel.

Ultra modern
Our room was one of the nicest of our trip, VERY modern and clean.
Considering that it is maybe five minutes from the airport, our room was remarkably quiet. The shuttle service runs every 20 minutes, and is easy to find using the hotel directions online.
The little town is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. There you will find an outdoor market where you can get fresh bread, rolls, meats etc. The rooms feature a mini-bar - ie:refridgerator. You do the math...
Highly recommend for the morning after the flight or the night before. |
