"Beautiful Hotel right on Dam square" I stayed here with my boyfriend for about 5 days in Febuary. The hotel is right on Dam Square so close to the red light district and everything... The room, service and food was absolutly peferct... the only little thing though i found it beautiful...was that i could easily see my boyfriends point of view that for us it was a bit old fashioned looking.. for example the decoration and furnishings in the room were really old styled and could be made slightly more up to date looking...

"Wow!" We spent two nights here as a last minute a few days ago, due to booking last minute we really did not expect much, but on first arrival and walking for approx 10 minutes we arrived at Dam Square, and to this beautiful hotel, firstly someone helps you with your bags, the staff really are truely wonderful and helpful, really nothing was to much trouble. After checking in at reception two hours early Semra (whom really is an asset to the company) informed us that we had in fact been up-graded to the Royal Wing, we really could not believe our luck! On arriving at our room, the room was totally breath taking due to being a special occasion for us both, the hotel had arranged fresh flowers in our room, and rose petals in our bath (maybe a girl thing)! We really could not of asked for a better room, on returning later that afternoon we came back to a bottle of wine and fresh fruit, this hotel was truely outstanding. The bed was just so comfortable, ideal after all the walking, and the shower was one of the best we had known, and in the past we have travelled to a few places, for us this really was 5*.. Thank you to all the staff especially Semra whom made our stay truely memorable, and one we will never forget, the hotel really is in the heart of Amsterdam ideal for all Amsterdam has to offer.... PERFECT!!

"Nice Choice" Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Nh Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky and was very impressed. I’ve stayed at a few other hotels in Amsterdam before and I must admit this was the best. The location is ideal, right smack dab in the middle of the city close to virtually everything. The hotel lobby is gorgeous and check-in/out was relatively smooth. My room was very nice, spacious with a large King sized bed. Didn’t have much a view tho. Décor was suitable, sort of quaint. Bathroom was large with a big tub. They even provide complimentary bath robe and slippers. The room safety deposit box is computerized and very easy/convenient to use. They have cable television however most of the channels offered are pay-tv and they only have 1 free channel in English. Contrary to other reviews, street noise wasn’t a problem at all. They do lock the main door at 1 am and you have to show your room card to get buzzed in which was a little annoying but really not a problem. The only thing I noticed that could use some improvement was the maid service. Got the feeling that they were in a rush sometimes (if you know what I mean) but everything else was fine. I highly recommend this hotel for tourists and business travelers looking for quality in a convenient location.

"To die for" Despite looking a little unpromising from the outside the interior more than compensates. The rooms are great with bathrooms to die for. The staff are excellent and the restaurant supplies some of the best food I've ever eaten.

"Amsterdams best!" Excellent location, perfect service and beautiful rooms. This is the "can't miss" place to stay in Amsterdam.

"Great Hotel!" Great hotel, great location central to so many activities. Very clean room and bath. Staff was very friendly, quick and attentive. Great service. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in possible stay. Would happily stay again and again.
