Stay in Nicea is a memorable experience.

Nicea Hotel is a pleasant hotel located in the heart of Nice, yet away from the heavy traffic areas of the city center. This hotel is only steps away from the railway station, and just ten minutes walk from the "Old Town" and the Place Massena. This quiet yet central hotel offers 38 completely renovated guest rooms, which offer every comfort. The Nicea features a rooftop terrace and solarium where guests can also enjoy breakfast in the morning and refreshment throughout the day.

The hotel is an old french style building that has very attractive lobby with stone floor, a wooden reception area, and then a small sitting area. The original lift is also a feature in the lobby. This a pleasant hotel with no frills yet very comfortatble.

The staff, even organising the guests' excursion will do everything to make the stay a pleasant one.
LOCATION

Nicea Hotel is situated in the heart of Nice. Due to its location and characteristics, it can be considered as a unique offer in town. It is close to business areas, night attractions, historical downtown and shopping centres. Also it is within easy reach of the main railway station, other public transport and all major attractions.

The hotel is very close to the Massena Square that is really the heart of the city. To the north, elegant buildings with their arcades sport the famous reds of pompeii, and to the east lies a beautiful view of the picturesque tuscan hills. The great fountain, with alfred janniot's bronze sculptures representing the planets in our solar system, is a favorite gathering place for tourists.

"Friendly and central location"
My partner and I have been to Nice several times and on this occassion we decided to stay at Hotel Nicea. The hotel was well located for access to the train station - fantastic for us as we were spending most of our time in Monaco for the Grand Prix. The staff were very friendly and our room was large, clean and well appointed. The hotel is only a short walk to the beachfront promenade, the main shopping strip and the lovely restaurants and quaint lanes of the old town. Only complaint was that the breakfast buffet was a bit sparse. Besides that, all good!

"Good value and location"
Our stay at the Hotel Nicea was a good one. The rooms were clean but and average size for Europe. The staff spoke better then average English and was helpful. Our room was cleaned daily with the sheets changed every other day. The location is about 6 blocks from the train station and about 15-20 minute walk to the beach. We paid 393.60 US for 3 people for 3 nights which is great value for this town. The door to the front of the hotel was locked late at night when we returned, but it has a buzzer which alerted the staff to our presence. The door was opened within a minute of buzzing. Going back to Nice I would stay here again because of the tremendous value for a very expensive town.

"Good Value for money"
We stayed here in May for the Monaco Grand Prix - being at the circuit all day, we just wanted somewhere clean and quiet to sleep. Hotel Nicea was ideally located with just a few minutes walk to the station or beach and breakfast was more than adequate. The room was clean and airy. The price was very competitive (apparently less than 2/3 of the price the McLaren fans were paying in the hotel next door.). The staff are multi lingual and very helpful re. minding cases, calling taxis etc. GREAT PLACE TO STAY FOR THE GRAND PRIX!

I would deffinataely return. I would strongly reccommend to others. Very clean, safe and well positioned for an enjoyable weekend.
