"A chocolate box experience!"
The Noel Arms is a fantastically cosy hotel, stuffed with charming features. Chipping Campden is not only a great base to explore the Cotswolds from but it also has plenty to offer in the way of shops and restaurants, and general cuteness.
Our room was small but clean and had plenty of character. The food in the main restaurant is incredible for a three-star hotel, although the service could be a bit confused at times. Breakfast was amazing, with porridge with whiskey on the menu - has to be sampled!
My only disappointment was when we asked for tea by the fire - I was expecting to be offered a choice of cream tea, scones, etc but we just got some biscuits.
Overall, the Noel Arms provided a fantastic getaway from London to a type of English countryside that it's easy to forget exists. A highlight was definitely relaxing in front of the open fire while it snowed outside - perfect.

"Service at the Noel Arms"
On the 15th July 2006 my son and new daughter-in-law(Mark & Ruth Essex) held their wedding reception at this hotel (Noel Arms, Chipping Camden, UK). What can I say that doesn't sound inadequate to express the extremely high level of service that we received - certainly thank you doesn't cover it. Nothing, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The staff were happy and cheerful. The food and service for the wedding breakfast and evening buffet were second to none. You never had to wait at the bar to get served, if you'd left something in another room the staff went looking for you so that you didn't leave your guests. The hotel is spotless, rooms are delightful with some little extra touches of quality.
I'll finish by saying the Manager and staff if they read this should be proud of themselves.

"Happy new year"
We stayed at this thoroughly delightful hotel on New years eve for a special celebration.
The staff were very attentive and nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
The oriental food was excellent and well deserved its Egon Ronay review.
The room was very comfortable, massive bed. The shower was disappointing, not very powerful.
Barstaff excellent and once again, nothing was too much trouble.
All in all, The Noel Arms is well worth a visit.

"Fantastic"
Given some of the previous comments posted, I thought I'd better write a review to let everyone know what a great hotel this is. I cannot fault anything. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was great (both oriental and traditional), the room was well decorated and cosy, such a beautiful location, etc..... Anyway, you get the idea - it was good.
