The worst hotel value of our trip
Hotel was very expensive. For that we got a sweltering room with a fan that could be operated only with lights on. No minibar, no towels, no toiletries, no glasses in the bathroom. Hotel claims to be remodeled but there is no evidence. Carpets were frayed and dirty. Rooms are small, there are no dressers so that you can empty your suitcase. Very noisy, just above the train tracks and trains run all night. Construction work nearby carried on until after dark - in August. |

"Good location"
The Mercure Copenhagen is just a 5 minute walk from the Central station. The rooms to the front of the hotel overlook railways lines, and can be a bit noisy if the windows are opened. But you do get a great view of the city skyline, with all the spires and towers its worth a little disturbance. The rooms are pretty basic, Television, shower, bath, etc. The rooms are clean and modern. Beds are very comfortable, and breakfast is ok. The hotel has excellent rates for its location, and I would stay here again when I return. Like all the Danes, the staff were extremely helpfull and friendly.
